Happy to see this coffee shop open up. The ambience is great and very comfortable. There's plenty of room and places to sit, and it's great for all occasions and perfect for families too. The food looks good, but I didn't have a chance to try anything. The coffee is only okay. The location is a bit awkward unless you were already in the area and easier to get there on foot.

In a world where we're losing all our third spaces, this place is a blessing. Such a cozy spot. So warm and sweet. The staff are so kind & the food and drinks are great! The price is great! It's so awesome to have somewhere comfortable to hang out for a while. Absolutely love this place!

Such a nice place! Ambience is awesome, coffee was tasty, very nice and welcoming service. Eclair is a lot better than other eclairs I tried elsewhere. There is a private room with large table. I wish there was an outside seating too, but other than that, it’s a superb coffee shop.

So excited to see this cute, comfy, airy spot open downtown! Great tables for laptopping or catching up with friends, full breakfast and lunch menu, and coffee cocktails if you’re there later. Very spacious inside! Can’t wait to make this my new go-to spot.

Great new coffee shop in downtown. Love the black walnut tables, low key vibe, and open for cocktails in the evening. Great service, even has a private room. I will be back!

Great addition to downtown Issaquah. The margarita flatbread was yummy. Great place to come work for a few hours or meet a friend. On my second visit I thoroughly enjoyed the sausage egg sandwich. So good!!!

I was meeting a friend for dinner, and we decided to come here because I wanted to try it out, and it's open till 9 PM from Thursday to Saturday, and till 8 PM on other days. This is a very large location, in the building of former Rogue brewery and restaurant, across from Issaquah library. It's now the home of 55 Sunset and the Big Picture Theater is next door. This place is owned by Gregg Fossum of Gaslamp Bar.

The seating areas are aplenty, and there is a nice feel to it. The wood and leather decor gives it a nice away from home look. It's pretty empty for now, but I hope to see it fill up soon when the word gets around.

My friend and I got there at 7 PM, we ordered the red wine, 2 selections were H3 Red Blend and Prayers of Sinners. The prices by the glass are a bit high for place with no table service it would have been nice if it was a bit cheaper. Enzo's has happy hour till 7 PM, everyday, and Cafe Vino next door has a great selection, and they will be competing with places like that in the evenings.

The beer selection offers a lot of choice with 4 IPAs, 2 Pale Ales and more. The cocktails are coffee, espresso and hot chocolate based, but we didn't try those.

We ordered 2 flatbreads ($12.95 each plus tax and tip) and a Basque cheesecake $6. The food was ok, and presented nicely, but prices are on the higher side for no table service. We had to ask for water and silverware but the staff is very new and very young, so they are still in training. There was a bit of confusion over how to open a tab, and which wine was available, but they sorted it out eventually.

The meeting room space looked interesting. I would definitely come here for a coffee and pastry next time, as I still haven't tried their coffee, but for food I will probably go to a proper restaurant, as we had to walk up and pay each time we wanted something and it's a different experience. Also a lot of stuff is pre made and warmed up.

It seems a great place for adults with kids, while we were there a dad came in with his young daughter for some dessert. Other than that we only saw a few of senior citizens. I think if they adjust lunch/ dinner food pricing a bit and get more of a vibe going this place will be a great option in the evenings. Especially if they can add live music down the line.

What can I tell you, coffee in the PNW is a 'thing'. Even good coffee shops struggle under the burden of public demand for this often critical survival resource (don't judge, 9 months of rain does something to a person). 55 Sunset is the antidote to crowded coffee shops that mess up your order, take forever, and don't have anywhere to sit.

55 Sunset is new but they offer a more relaxed environment where you don't feel like you're going through a TSA security checkpoint just to order your coffee. 55 Sunset has a wonderful open floor plan with high ceilings and lots of seating. The coffee is excellent, they produce a perfect Cappuccino which must be the most commonly miss-made coffee drink (no cappulattes please). The Caffé Dárte coffee is one of my favorites as well.

I thought the pastries were pretty good and I'm intrigued by the idea of coming back for cocktails in the evening. But honestly I'm just happy to find a spot with good coffee that's relaxing on a Sunday morning. This place is undoubtedly going to become very popular and my only fear and hope is that they can maintain the relaxing atmosphere as their popularity grows. My advice would be to staff up now and buy another espresso machine cause they're going to need it. I'll be back to check out the evening cocktails soon enough.

Edited: I deleted stars after stopping into the bathroom on the way out. When was the last time the toilets were washed? There is feces splattered all over under the toilet seat—which greeted me in the up position as I walked in. Disgusting. If I had seen this first, I would have walked right out and not ordered.

Wonderful spot to spend a quiet Saturday morning. We chose to sit outside and listen to the fish hatchery’s falling water next door. They make a wonderful soy cappuccino and the apple strudel is heavenly. Glad we stopped in to plan our morning while our son was hiking in the area with his school.

Excellent spot for a coffee house in Issaquah next to the new Big Picture premium movie theater - we need more quality developments downtown!
Good coffee, friendly service, no long lines yet, plenty parking across the road.
Gaslamp Bar n Grill owner Gregg Fossum has done a great conversion here at the old Issaquah Brewery spot.
Excellent WiFi. My only tiny gripe is that the tall chairs for the communal tables are just a tad too tall for those pretty wooden tables.
