Lovely little place! The staff is so sweet, they have wonderful coffee and absolutely delicious food! I had a really nice woman help me out, she recommended the chai latte. It was super good and so was the bread she recommended.
Such a cute place, I'll definitely be going there again!

I've been going to this coffee shop for some time and it's amazing! They have the best lattes and I love they are trying to be more eco-friendly by switching to paper straws - keep up the good work!

Would love to see try to reduce more plastic and not use the fake compostable stuff.

Update: I heard that Waterfront Coffee was under new ownership and decided to give it another chance. I was very pleasantly surprised! The staff, environment and general positive energy of this little coffee shop was excellent. The young womyn behind the counter were especially friendly and upbeat. Their menu is good and varied and, the coffee is very good and prices reasonable. I will definitely be coming back and will bring my friends!

I have tried to give this coffee company a chance but after 3 visits, I can now say I will not return. As an Edmonds resident of 20 years, I love to support our local shops. Waterfront Coffee just doesn't seem to get things right. Unfortunately, it all comes down to the servers/staff. On each visit, there have been different staff, but all have had the same customer service attitude, which appears to be "I'm not interested in serving you but I have to". At the price of coffee, one should at least get decent service. Sad to say, this local will no longer patronize Waterfront Coffee.

A small, cozy coffee shop with super smooth coffee, some very original crafted drinks (e.g. torched marshmallow latte), good addons (e.g. pastries, food bars), and their prices are quite reasonable. There are some tables, comfy chairs to sit and enjoy your drinks (and maybe some conversation), and the shop has a very pleasant atmosphere. Round it off with genuinely friendly owners and you've got a wonderful little coffee shop. Oh, and it's right next to the ferry terminal!

BTW If you've previously visited this shop, but not recently, know that it's been remodeled with the new owners. It's very bright, cheerful, and I wasn't exaggerating about it being cozy. I also forgot to mention that they serve some really good ice cream like toasted coconut. Also, they make sandwiches, including an interesting breakfast sandwich.

I love Waterfront Coffee! I work in downtown Edmonds, and everyone in our office is obsessed with this coffee shop. The baristas are super caring and attentive -- they actually have remembered our order which makes me feel super loved. Though they don't always have the same food items, the food they get is local and is always delicious! Not to mention, their drip coffee and cold brew is hands down THE best. The shop itself is always oh-so-cozy; they feature a variety of artwork by local photographers and painters, and the overall energy is very warm and inviting. In addition to delicious coffee, Waterfront is conscientious, dog-friendly, and invested in their community.

The best coffee in Edmonds hands down. They put care into the coffee itself and the result is obvious. Espresso that is smooth, has depth, and doesn't cut the back of your throat.
