Take A Break Cafe

Stopped by for breakfast on our way home from Cashmere to Redmond. Had a very nice sausage burrito. It was just the right size, not some football like thing! Priced right as well, with friendly service. Will go again the next time we are in the area.

Got dinner to go. Ordered when we got there, were served by friendly helpful staff in a timely manner. I had a chicken wrap sandwich with onion rings. It was large and lovely, rings tasty. Also got an order of Fish and chips, that came with fresh homemade slaw and tartar sauce -YUM! Everything was delicious even though we had to wait until getting home to eat it.
Their menu had a lot of tasty looking options to choose from. I do wish I would have written this sooner as I don't feel I am doing their food justice with only my words. It really was very good. Looking forward to going again a.s.a.p. to try their breakfast, whichI have heard very good things about as well.
*Note...I did try to go there for breakfast prior to this dinner experience at opening time. Unfortunately there was no one there when they were supposed to be open. 😖Maybe a fluke? As we were driving away an employee (I assume) went past us in a hurry to get there to open. There's always next time. - I'll give them 20 min. after opening so the coffee and grill are hot and ready as well as the staff. 😉

New ownership, great food. Since the new owners took over it has been a night and day difference in quality. The food is always fresh and tasty, portions are great and the price is too. These guys know how to cook and the service is excellent. All around a great little restaurant!

Found this place by accident a few year ago in the way to camping. Great food with large portions. Staff were great.

Very friendly and will customize food needs. I have a spinach/mushroom omellet with sliced avacado on top...its the best! Their fruit salad is hugh...large slices of fruit.

Favorite breakfast and great service. Honestly one of my favorite places. I even drive over from Seattle just to eat here and hike in the area. However the hours they have listed are totally inconsistent, and I've only ever gotten to eat there 3 times because of that. If you're not open till 4 then change your hours, as of today I've visited the Cafe far more times then eaten there

Had a friend tell me about this place and I'm so glad she did.
The food is great and you get large servings ! I haven't got any food I didn't like and they have never messed a order up. The staff is friendly too.

We stopped after I saw a picture of the mushroom burger. Great decision. I love knowing a little off the road place. Get the onion rings and the blackberry shake, you won't be sorry!!
