We were looking for a quick and affordable place to feed our family after our camping trip. This place was excellent. Fresh, tasty food, good kid options, AND they brought out the chocolate milkshake before the meal! You won’t regret making this stop.

Can't go wrong on any of the breakfast menu! Great Sunday morning destination,

The food was great, the service was just right, no too pesty and the prices were on target for us. Stop on in.

Great little place. Basic, tasty food.

We stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday. Staff were super sweet and food came out very quickly.

Burger and grilled ham & cheese sandwich were ordered. Burger was much larger than expected with good flavor and crispy lettuce and two nice looking, large tomatoes slices. Grilled h&c was cheesy with plenty of ham and grilled to perfection.

Don't forget to order a shake. Blackberry was amazing.

Heard about this place from friends in Cashmere WA. Bright, clean friendly atmosphere. Staff energetic and informative. Great food at a reasonable price. We will be back.

Felt like a breakfast spinach omelette for dinner and it was one of the nicest I’ve had in a while. Simple decor and reasonable prices. Will definitely add Take A Break as a stop off when coming this way again.

This cafe is just off the highway. I've driven by for years and wondered about it - there are always many cars in the lot, and from the highway the place looks tiny. I envisioned an old-timey snack counter.

Finally gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. It's larger than I thought, probably a dozen tables, each large enough to seat 4 adults. It is light and airy, servers are polite and helpful, never pushy or obtrusive. I didn't ask, but it appears to be a family operation. Also appears to do a healthy to go business.

The food? Very good, actually. This is not a greasy spoon. My breakfast was prepared and presented perfectly and arrived at the table hot. My coffee and water never ran dry, even tho I drink a lot of both. Prices were consistent with this quality. I will be back.

Great breakfast, good prices, excellent cooking. Had the "Farmers Scramble" this morning and it is my new favorite. Truly an out of the way gem, well worth the drive out to Dryden.
