Great coffee, friendly staff and Star Wars legos!

I really enjoyed their unusual southwestern quiche. The crust was excellent. I also am very picky about coffee, and I found their iced mocha delicious... I should have gotten a larger size. Frequently iced drinks don't come in a 12 oz size, but they serve it there. It is a very popular place.

Still one of my favorite coffee shops, and love the atmosphere there. However not the same flavor since Chris, the original owner/roaster hired someone else to do his job. The coffee just doesn't have the same robust/smooth flavor it used to. Wish Chris could come back and roast again, or the current roaster got an update on his skills.

Meh! Not what I was expecting. Had spent the day in Cle Elum, saw the sign that this place was celebrating 20 years ... But was kinda disappointed... The drip coffee was tepid warm at best.... Add cream and the coffee was weak and brutal .... The ham and cheese croissant was heated perfectly. But do not think that they are made onsite.

Great coffee, and snacks. They have a nice wine and beer selection if you need supplies at the last minute. A regular breakfast stop for me if I am on the way out for a bike ride, hike or golf round in the area.

Love love love this place! Coffee is great and the people are such an awesome crew! Our fave is white coffee and they know how to brew it nicely. They've also got a nice selection of tasty pastries of which apple fritters are superb. In fact, I hear the apples are so sinfully delicious they came from the original Garden of Eden responsible for the fall of humanity. Yeah, they're that good. Be sure to get a souvenir hoodie and tell them Chris and Mindi sent you!

We always stop at Pioneer coffe when passing Clelum. We love their coffee, treats and selection of local wines! But on our last visit, the team went above and beyond! I left my wallet behind on my way to the Seatac airport leaving the country. I phoned about an hour after my visit and mishap. They not only had my wallet, but agreed to post it to a family member and refused to take the cash in thanks. It arrived two days later with family and I just received my wallet, cash and cards overseas (11 days later)... with a bag of their divine chocolate covered beans. Thank you to this amazing team of kind-hearted baristas! You are what is good in the world!

It was the perfect little small town coffee shop! Iced mocha was made perfect, just the right amount of coffee and the roast was hold and flavorful! The blackberry scone tasted like it came right from my Mama's oven! Staff was super friendly as well, I will definitely add this little shop to my must stop at list when visiting the area! 🙂

My first ever visit to this place occurred on Aug. 27 where I saw their employees unmasked, either naive to the reinstated mask mandate or deliberately ignoring it. In light of the surge of the Delta variant, I couldn't care less why. This will probably be my only visit. If the owner chooses to prioritize the safety of their customers, themselves, their fellow employees, and their community, I may consider giving them a second chance. For now though, my $ goes elsewhere.

A fun little stop, a good break in your drive, coffee always good
