Caffe Ladro - Bothell

Caffe Ladro is a nice little cafe. The coffee was alright and the environment was welcoming. The staff seemed rather youthful and pretty preoccupied with everything going on. The customer journey is a little confusing with the layout and customers when busy will bump into one another. I had a cold brew with heavy cream, which is my go to drink in places like this. The coffee was strong and probably needed just a little more water, something I've come to expect from smaller coffee shops that don't have the standardization of some of the larger chain. Per usual the food offering didn't allow me to expand my purchase to meet my dietary needs. I would recommend adding some options that promote health and wellness such as fruit, meat and cheese, or other non-carb based options. The world is changing and small businesses like this will fizzle when they don't adapt to the trends of a changing market.

It was busy. Well known place. When I recieved my Triple shot dirty chai it was waterd down. My wife's white chocolate americano was frankly made weak. Busy is great but at what expense. Coffee should have flavor and it was not apparent here.

Good espresso, nice and spacious space with outdoor seating.

Cheerful staff who kept their cool even during July 4th craziness. You could tell that they worked as a team and really did their best to help serve their quality coffee to everyone who stopped in as quickly as they could, all with a smile. When it isn't crazy, this place is ideal to meet up with friends, decompress on your own, or to indulge yourself with their wide variety of sweets and savories.

TLDR: This place sets a high bar for the other coffee stops in Bothell.

Me and my girlfriend were exploring today and this place was on my list to check out. I ordered turmeric latte (which I have never tried before or have seen it being offered anywhere around me) and my friend ordered a latte. I got my latte and guy must haven't heard my friend's order, when we asked him he made her a latte without charging us. AMAZING customer service!!! And both our drinks were delicious. Latte with 2 shots wasn't too strong or to watered down/milky. Will most definitely come back.

Always great coffee. The Medicci is their signature drink. It's like a mocha with some orange zest, and definitely not too sweet. We frequently buy coffee from various Seattle coffee shops and give them to friends and family from out of town. Hands down, Ladro's Queen Anne blend is the favorite.

Embarrassing to talk about your customers and let them hear you talking poorly. If you have something to say, say it directly to my face so I have the chance to respond not behind the window at the espresso machine to the floor.

I had to wait in the drive through for approximately 15 min even though there was only one person in front of me in line. Also, once I got to the window there was no "hello, hi" or "sorry for the wait", she just continued to make some espresso without acknowledging me...
She finally went to the register and then said "hi your total is 5.61" (side note $5.61! Similar places is usually around $4.50)
Anywho, the coffee was fine 6/10, but not worth the time I wasted there. I've had better experiences in the past, so I suppose this experience can only be explained by that one barista.

The staffs forgot my order of quiche. I reminded them after working at a table for about 20 minutes, and the filled my order quickly. I asked for a shake espresso, not realizing that it is alcoholic. I wish there is an explanation on the sign for a newbie like me. Other than that the staffs were polite and helpful; wifi works great, without time or speed limit like a chain store.

The coffee and tea are fabulous. The staff are willing to put customer satisfaction above and beyond❤️ this is also a fantastic spot to meet up with a friend, to have a meeting or fly solo. Great atmosphere
