This place is everything you want out of a coffee shop. Excellent food, coffee, vibes, music, lighting. Love it.

Very good coffee and friendly service, glad we stopped by this place on our visit to Bellingham.

This place was incredible! The pour-over I got from Justin was the best I've had in a while! So glad narrative opened in Bellingham, much needed!

Normally don’t do reviews, but felt this place was worth a post. Great place for coffee and breakfast! My wife and I stopped in this morning and were warmly greeted by both employees. The lady taking our order found out we were visiting from out of town and wrote down some recommendations when she brought us our coffee. Above and beyond genuine help. Would definitely come back

I enoyed the coffee, and the staff was friendly. The French toast was really disappointing though. The presentation was nice, and the sauce had interesting/delicate flavor, but the toast was tough crusty bread that couldn't be cut with a knife. It tasted like eating a plate of the kind of bread you'd dip in a soup (with a little sweetened sauce on it). The bottom was also very eggy.

We have been waiting for narrative to open because we live 4 blocks away. It’s awesome! Maxwell and Justin were working and they are both awesome. This butterscotch bourbon latte thing is v good. Also our baby likes it.

Incredible. I've been a fan of Narrative from their Everret location for a few years and this is everything you want in specialty coffee. All the craft and none of the snobbery.

They use high quality ingredients and employ experienced baristas who have mastered their craft. Come expecting to pay specialty coffee prices :)

A wonderful, passionate group of people with a warm and energizing, yet relaxing atmosphere. It's ironic that in the morning many of us enjoy sitting down and relaxing as we contemplate our day with a warm cup of Joe. Ironic because this bean water is anything but relaxing for our nervous systems. Flavor is hard to come by in Bellingham. Many restaurants and cafés are one note, much like our mainstream music. Narrative coffee truly writes it's own symphony. A cacophony of tasteful temptations awaiting an orchestral moment on your pallette. Coffee such as this couldn't be this good without the people making it, providing the first steps in your mood enhancement until the first sip meets your lips. Indulgence at it's finest.

Ordered flat white off the menu. Also tried cappuccino with oat milk. Both were great. Barista with the Lany cap knows what he’s doing.

Choco chip cookie and cinnamon bun were also delightful.

Staff still following Covid protocols. Cute indoor seating. Spacious outdoor seating with an event tent so you can still sit and be safe from the rain.
