The environment was very quaint and homey. Crowd was a good mixture both younger and older people. The Persnickety Mocha Latte and the cinnamon scone were delicious. My friends also enjoyed the gluten free peanut butter cookies. Great place to catch up with friends and a play area to keep the little ones occupied.

I originally made a great review on fb from my first visit. Since I have been here a few times the quality has changed. I’ve kept coming back becusse it’s great for the kids area but the food is inconsistent. I ordered the sunrise bowl about a week ago and I literally had the best, freshest eggs ever so fluffy! Then..I come back today my eggs in the bowl and the kids eggs are microwaved, hard as a rock in some spots, cheese is just plastered on the container because it’s been over cooked. You can just hear order after order in the microwave. Maybe microwave is the standard and I came on a fluke day when they were cooking them fresh? Idk..just tell me the day the person is here cooking the eggs and I’ll make sure to come that day. I’m so torn because this place is such a delight..photo is leftover eggs from our meal. For comparison I’ll post the eggs from the other day (we didn’t add anything to the eggs either day..)

My wife has always wanted some latte art and we found the perfect place! Really nice spot, definitely a coffee house feel. Even has a play area for children. Don't pass this one up ☺️

Prices can be a bit high at times but the trade off is absolutely worth it. Coffee 10/10, Staff 12/10, atmosphere and music? You guessed it 10/10. There's no better cafe in the hampton roads area.

It was freezing inside when we got there, food came out cold and açaí bowl was watery. We ended up just sharing the egg bagel sandwich because it was the only thing that was hot. You would be better off with a bagel sandwich from Panera bread. Plus I’ve never seen anyone bring out a side of fruit in a plastic ziplock bag. The dirty chai was okay and my suggestion for people is if you’re coming here for just coffee then maybe you would have a way better experience than we did.

We stopped at this cute local cafe for tea and a treat on the way to VA Beach. The gluten free and vegan carrot muffin is amazing - like a moist gingerbread! Also couldn’t resist the monster GF oatmeal cookie with chocolate chips. Several varieties of loose leaf tea (black, decaf black, green, and herbal) to choose from; I had the apricot black tea which was strong and aromatic! The children’s play area is cute (it even has a mini checkout station complete with a credit card keypad! 😂) and gives parents a place to hang out while the kiddos are occupied. A great find!👍

Wonderful! I stumbled upon this cafe by accident and what a lovely surprise! This cafe is so cute and cozy with friendly staff. There was a little shelf of games and books for patrons to peruse. And even a small child baby friendly area. I got The London bagel and The Coffe Whisperer espresso. Both were absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was great. Will definitely be going back to treat myself and explore more of the menu.

Whether you are there to relax, work, or play this cafe is special. They have great drinks and breakfast. The little play area is so fun for small children. Service has always been nothing short of amazing.

This cafe is so cute! I love all the crane facts and little details throughout the cafe. The atmosphere is very homey and relaxing, my son is 3 he loved the play area and it allowed me to enjoy a really good cold brew and just watch him have fun, he also really like the fruit on a stick. The food we got was delicious I really enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich. My one and only complaint is a few of the tables had a lot of leftover crumbs so we had to pick a table a little further from play area

Very nice place for everybody! Especially nice for parents because you can actually enjoy your meal and not worry about chasing your littles around the entire time. Also, very considerate because they have step stools in the restrooms and a changing table. The bonus is that the food and drinks were amazing too!
