Outside/ furniture dirty, nails and old wood laying around, wasps nests. Outdoor play area not mowed, potentially injury for kids. Play area not safe environment! If cleaned up, could be a nice environment.

After several years in the area, I can say this is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Virginia Beach. The service is impeccable and definitely has a reputation as a locals favorite. Easy going, affordable, and great quality.

This is the second time my daughter and I have visited. We waited an hour for our 2 signature sandwiches which arrived on different bread than advertised - and extremely small with little meat or Anything inside! What a disappointment - the only saving grace was the lovely weather and a nice lawn seat .

OUTSTANDING chai made in house. Try the Schutes Farm or The Signature sandwich. Awesome house blend coffee. Good cookies. Excellent male barista.

My new favorite coffee shop. A rustic old home transformed into a modern coffee shop. It has a large outdoor porch with gorgeous views! The coffee is really good and food is delicious! I will be returning quite frequently!

Coffee lattes were super delicious! The environment and decor was very inviting and fun - a traditional farmhouse converted into a coffee shop with ample seating area both inside and out. Games and books about to read and enjoy as well as free WiFi. Local art for sale. Rocking chairs on the wrap around porch overlooking some garden space filled with pollinators and birds. Recommend and will return!

This is the spot. You want the breakfast burrito, “full send”. You also want the house coffee (fair warning, it’s usually robust).
The burrito here comes with their own pimento cheese on it (in addition to pico, egg, cheese, and bacon). “Full send” adds avocado (and maybe the pico was part of the full send option, can’t recall).
The building is an old house with a wonderful wrap around front porch, limited seating inside, and there is a playground out back for the kiddos.
I’d recommend getting here close to opening; it’s a light staff (as of June/July 2021) and wait times can increase significantly later in the morning.
100% worth the trip and wait.

Haven't been here but was looking for coffee while I was out and about. The manager's replies on here to customers concerns telling them they are "pretty lucky to only wait an hour on Mother's day" comes across as very snide and condescending. For that alone, I wouldn't want to choose this place to eat because I'd be afraid of doing something to offend the staff the entire time.

Delicious coffee with a perfect area out back for kiddos to play.

Small shop with a great atmosphere. Food and coffee were both outstanding.
