Delicious pancakes, home fries, etc. Link sausage, my favorite 😍. Eggs, fluffy and great. Our waitress was kind, never left us waiting for her. Cute, quiet, quaint little place. Will be back.

This place has really great food and great but I can say that the rest room had a very unpleasant smell smh 🤦‍♀️ It was not very clean. There wasn’t any toilet 🚽 paper or any napkins or even soap to sanitize my hands. My husband called a week ahead to book a table for our family after our elopement so I expected better.

We come here every year during our yearly trip to VA beach. Food was okay this past time. Can tell it's gone a little downhill over the years but the server was very nice.

This seemed more like a locals spot. We had breakfast for supper and everything was great and as ordered. Wait staff were friendly and professional. We would eat here again.

It's been 20 years since my last visit, and nothing has changed. My knife was filthy, the pancakes were cold and chewy like they'd been sitting a while, and the coffee was super bitter. The flavor of the home fries and sausage were amazing, but tons of grease on the potatoes really takes away from it. Portions are larger than most places, so the prices are alright, and my waitress was a lovely young lady and very friendly. But as far as the food, cleanliness, and atmosphere, it was underwhelming and definitely doesn't deserve the praise it's always getting from people. If you don't have above mediocre standards, this is your place.

Long wait, but worth it. Tastes like a home cooked meal. Good music playing and friendly, helpful staff

We love diners, and we searched online for one on our way to our hotel. This one looked promising. It was fantastic!! We ordered dinners. My plate had so much pulled pork on it that I could only eat a little bit of it. It was delicious!! The two sides I chose, mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese were also really good. And Texas toast! We splurged on dessert. A huge brownie a la mode and apple pie a la mode. Both were huge portions. The pie and brownie were heated, and each had a really big scoop of ice cream on top. They added a neat touch - the pie’s ice cream had a cinnamon topping sprinkled on, and my brownie ice cream had a chocolate syrup drizzled on. Both had whipped cream on top. Have I made you hungry yet?? Service was quick and friendly, and prices were extremely reasonable. We HIGHLY recommend Ric’s Cafe and are so glad we discovered it!!
