I started coming here when I got back to the area right before Christmas. The drinks are wonderful and I usually like to get the oolong milk tea with no sugar. The coco taro iced drink is delicious as well. The place is clean and welcoming and the staff are great. The service today was wonderful. The only caveat is the drinks sometimes take a while to prepare and it can get real busy at times so orders can back up quickly. Be prepared to wait for your drinks especially if it's a custom order. It's a shame I haven't seen muffins available for a while as I quite enjoyed the blueberry ones. I introduced my best friend to this place a while back and he loved it. I plan to bring other friends here if I can. It's great to have a place like this while I'm staying in the area. The drinks are better than Starbucks and less pricey as well. Joyu Tea & Coffee is a winner in my book.

I am in love with this place. I've genuinely been 4 times in one weekend. It's now my regular place.
When I first came inside I went early, so that fresh smell of tea and things brewing hit my nose as soon as I walked in. The place is very quiet, and minimal but cute. Just how I like it. I'm a tea girl, and I love a good tea...I love variety even more. In a place where they open 5 coffee shops a week, it's nice to find a good place doing tea well, and putting just as much emphasis on tea as they do coffee. I've been going through their signature teas, while my boyfriend loves the iced americano. It's his go to at this point. I love the honey mango drink, as well as the lychee tea. Honestly, I haven't had a drink that wasn't delicious yet. I truly enjoy how they incorporate fresh fruit, and ingredients. If you're looking for a fresh and very sweet drink I'd do the honey mango tea. It has that sweet syrupy fresh honey in it mixed with fresh pieces of mango. It makes the tea so refreshing in more ways than one. If you're going for something a little stronger but just as sweet they have a moonlight lychee drink that's just the bees knees okay? I plan on trying the Joyu berry drink next. Even the Vietnamese coffee was just my speed. Full bodied, smooth, but so damn strong!!!
Had me wired all day on a small LOL. All in all it's a very lovely place to get a yummy tea. Especially it you need a nice quiet moment. I actually enjoy sitting in their place drinking my tea. It's very quiet, the music is not loud, and the decor is very comforting. l've been in many drink places that are so overwhelming to me and just truly a sensory overload…..this place is just my speed. Make sure to ask for a card to get stamped!!!! The first stamp alone you get a discount! Get them all, and you get a free drink. Working on mine right now.

Milk Tea is super delicious with a variety of toppings, such as tapioca pearls, jellies, or fruit bits. The service was wonderful. The menu is pretty beautiful. I got 15% off when I came on Friday yayyy. I will come next time with my friends ^_^

So far this is the coffee and tea house that I like the most! They have lots of choices but my favorite is their special, Avocado JoYu. It's a perfect blend of avocado, creaminess, sweetness! It's so refreshing and I May so addicting! Lol
Second, their Vietnamese coffee. Man! It's legit and very strong, but they can change it for you if you don't want it too strong they can add more milk for you! Also don't forget to add coffee jelly!
Definitely must try!

Another cookie cutter boba joint with no boba on standby. Croffle was on life support, light on flave, and heavily lacking presentation. I had to pull the plug after a 30 minute wait while attempting jenga. The dranks were beyond mid, the vegan friendly venison version.

This is the best boba I’ve had ever. I’ve been to all the local boba chains and this for me is by far the best. The baristas are so nice as well. There are dairy free options too for the lactose intolerant or vegan people who crave boba!! I’m posting a review so quickly after ordering because I never want JOYU to go out of business and I’d like everyone to know about it. :-)

best milk teas i’ve had in va beach! i tried the oolong and hazelnut milk teas with foam and flan toppings which were all very good. interior is very clean and nicely decorated. customer service was good, the employees worked efficiently and seemed happy to be there and greet customers. very good! definitely will visit again :)

My girlfriend and I stopped by this tea shop while holiday shopping and tried the Moonlite Lychee Tea and the WildBerry Blasting. The Moonlite Lychee Tea was fragrant and had just the right level of sweetness. The WildBerry Blasting had blended fresh fruit with cream that was a treat that is hard to beat! Will definitely be visiting this place often!
