I’ve frequented many coffee shops in the city and surrounding cities and this is BY FAR the best. The customer service is great, the quality of the food is incredible, and the coffee is my favorite coffee ever!! Make sure you try the sweet potato biscuit, it’s the best thing I’ve ever eaten.

I expect coffee be like Starbucks quality and price but at same time I expect baked goods to be better than Starbucks especially considering a restaurant not a coffee shop. Carrot cake extremely dry no taste of carrot should be called spice and icing lack flavor and didn't help the dry cake.I would actually rate you 1/2 or zero stars.

It's the only place I know where you can get a slice of quiche. If you're not sure what to try? The staff are very helpful.

Everything about this place slaps. It’s an eclectic and quirky equestrian themed bar with the best scones and pies that can be washed down with delicious coffee.

AMAZING FOOD! We just stopped in at 17 Hands Coffee and the bacon & egg biscuits, the key lime pie and the cinnamon roll we just had were AMAZING! No complaints, everything was delicious and the owner was a very nice lady, great service, and just an all around awesome experience.

Do yourself a favor and skip the corporate coffee establishments and give 17 Hands a try! They have a unique variety of coffee and baked goods with a friendly, well trained team to assist you. Truly a hidden gem in the community that deserves a huge shout out!

The sweet-potato biscuits are amazing.

Everyone is extremely polite and the food is very good. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing, pastries are delicious and coffee has so many varieties of flavors. Gets very busy here though so I recommend going early if you’re not willing to wait, but it definitely is worth the wait!

So the smell from outside alone rates 5 stars! Meet up with Kempsville Run Club here early in Saturday and finally got to hang around long enough to try the coffee and bakery. It is literally a bakery AND coffee shop. As in full service coffee shop and legit bakery not a coffee shop that has a couple of baked goods or a bakery that has a coffee pot.
They have baked goods breakfast sandwiches cakes cookies pies dog treats all kinds of deliciousness. You can order to go or eat there I just grab some coffee and some cookies and take home to the kids. I will definitely be coming back. Oh and by coffee I mean a legit French vanilla latte made to order good stuff
