Best coffee in the area. They roast and sell wholesale as well. Really friendly with some seating. Not ideal for working in there but good to catch up a friend. Small pastry selection is only food. Both cold brew and hot coffee are great. Baristas are always friendly and helpful. Large variety of coffee from different regions.

Despite being tucked away in an industrial park area (pretty easy to miss if you're not looking), this place is amazing. Coffee bean selection is excellent (highly recommend the Chiapas if you prefer a medium brew; and the espressos are delicious), and the specialty lattes are delicious. Case in point, their orange mocha. Tastes like you're drinking a melted orange chocolate with enough caffeine to keep you going.
Parking is a bit tight, so time your trip so you can take your time perusing the bean selections (yes they will grind it for you if you want). Or mull over which specialty brew you wanna drink. And ph yeah, you can buy their iced coffees to enjoy at home. Havent tried it yet but seen enough customers head out with sizeable containers so it must be pretty darn tasty. And the staff's super friendly and helpful in guiding you on what to try.

Wanted to try this place for a while, but ended up unimpressed. $5 for a medium coffee (in my own travel mug, which caused significant confusion) and a croissant. Young lady running the register was polite but seemed flustered and trying to do several things at once. Asked me if I wanted the chocolate croissant heated, but ended up just toasting the outside (enough to make a mess) while the inside was stone cold.
No light roasts, only med-dark, and staff didn't have too much information to give on the flavor profiles of each. I don't expect intimate roast knowledge at a Starbucks, but here it's essential to the business, and it didn't happen. Staff in the back café area were impolite and seemed annoyed that I asked for creamer, since it wasn't obviously located. Shop was poorly organized and relied on customer intuition...which...before my coffee, not so much.
Seems like a neat place with potential, but I was seriously underwhelmed, and my companion was outright disgusted. Too expensive to tolerate a learning curve, especially when they've been open a while. Up to you to give it a try, but my money's going elsewhere.

I love how they have coffee from everywhere around the world. They buy straight from farmers. The quality of the coffee is better than I've tasted before in the entire national Capital region! We met the owners today and they are lovely people, passionate and knowledgeable about what they do and it shows. Try the coffee without cream or sugar first, it's amazing just as it is.

Great little space tucked away! One of the view coffee shops near me that feel like a space I want to spend time in! Their coffee is some of the best for miles around! Ethical sourcing, quality roasting and excellent brewing!

The place:
Parking is horrible. However once inside the atmosphere is unique. You can smell the coffee beans from the moment you open the door. Not a place to come and work for an afternoon seating is a bit awkward.
Coffee:
AMAZING, too good to be hidden in an industrial area.
So giving a 4 for the place but this coffee deserves a 5

Coffee is high quality and theres a variety of roasts and methods of brewing to choose from. Not a traditional retail environment, and its tucked away a bit but it has its charm. Parking isnt terrible but not great. If youre looking for a true coffee experience thats not an industrial starbucks assembly line, this is the place for you. I wish they were open Sundays.

I liked the rustic decor and their use of reclaimed wood furnishings. It's nice to know that Springfield VA have a cozy, trendy coffee shop that millennials can hang out in. However, don't expect this place to be like blue bottle coffee. I would compare it more to the Bicycle coffee shop in Oakland, CA which have their own roasting style and relaxed atmosphere.

Great coffee; limited food options, but they are quite tasty.
Both the packaged beans and the fresh coffee and lattes are wonderful!
During COVID, you can order online and have it delivered to your car!

Great little roasting shop. Carries a pretty good variety of well roasted, single origin coffees (no burnt or over dark roasts.) Staff are very helpful but coffee knowledge is hit or miss among them. I needed a solid espresso blend and they've helped me tinker with several different takes on one until I found one I really like. Could not recommend more as the best place in NoVA for fresh roasted beans for home enthusiasts.
