Before & After

Love it!! Great spot for really good coffee and pastries, and the river in the back is awesome!

Was on the way to Pennsylvania from Kents Store, VA. and looking for a restaurant for breakfast. As we rode thru Sperryville the Beyond and After Café sign caught my friend's eye. We went in and were met with a nice lady who gave us a Menu. My friend has a meat allergy, so when she discussed the Menu with the gracious lady, she was able to "come up" with something for my friend to eat.
I ordered a croissant with sausage on it, and the sausage tasted just like
my father's from our farm!
We were so grateful to the ladies that showed us such nice hospitality.
We will certainly be back.

Before & After is a fantastic cafe/restaurant that is well worth a stop if you're driving past (or you're in) Sperryville. To start with, they have world class cappuccino and cafe pastries. Better yet, they have a small but varied selection of paninis, salads, and similar lunch fare. My wife had a quinoa salad that included cucumbers, dried cranberries, onions, sliced almonds, and strawberries served on a bed of mixed greens that was spectacular. I had a spicy italian panini that was wonderful - full of meat, cheese, and sliced peppers. We had ginger-lemongrass tea and a hot chocolate (both wonderful) to drink, but they have a wide selection of beer in addition to non-alcoholic cold drinks, coffees, and teas.

Perfect coffee place. Delicious sandwiches & breakfasts. Good coffee. Cute shop w/ doo dads for purchase. Seating by the stream out back. Solid COVID protocols right now.

If you're ever in Sperryville, do yourself a favor and go to Before & After. Such a cute little shop with a large variety of drinks and food. Amazing service and a very welcoming and kind owner. Loved it!

This was our go-to place for lunch everyday on a recent visit to Sperryville. They do picnic boxes over the weekend and we took a picnic box on a visit to James Madison’s Montpelier. This was our second visit to Sperryville and loved that the staff at Before and After are so helpful! A must visit for anyone going to Sperryville.

Charming and cozy coffee shop in Sperryville. Could use a major kitchen upgrade to improve on meal prep time and eliminate restrictions on menu selection (cannot order one if their awesome sandwiches before certain time)

A must if visiting Sperryville, VA!!! It offers an assortment of world-class espresso/cappuccino beverages, along with tasty breakfast treats and lunch items, served by the talented Jessica, David, and Kerry! Good job!!!!
