The Busy Bean

Me and the family go there several times a month. Friendly staff, fresh coffee and pastries as well as excellent breakfast and lunch food offerings. Make sure you try their chicken bacon ranch sandwich!

This place is really a great find. I did a large catering order of around 24 breakfast sandwiches with coffee (24 hour notice). The owner came in early to fill it, and she and her team greeted me with smiles and good cheer. Everything was laid out beautifully, and the coffee carrier was unique and a nice touch! My work crew thought the food was delicious, and it is always a good sign when there is nothing left at the end of breakfast. Even though I dashed in and out picking up my order, the store looks cozy and inviting. Lots of couches and spots for conversations. I would definitely come back here and wholeheartedly recommend The Busy Bean for catering orders.

The girls were very friendly and the service was great. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was delicious. The desserts looked amazing but I didn't have any room!

I’ve came here a few times for lunch and I haven’t been disappointed in anything I’ve ordered. My favorite food so far has been one of the specials which was an oriental chicken wrap. I hope that will become a permanent item! Hopefully I can make it to have breakfast one day.

In addition to their food and drink options, this place does so much for community which makes it so very special.

They consistently recognize public school teachers. They provided free lunches for healthcare workers during the pandemic. They aren't just a business - they give back to the local community.

Plus they're friendly, professional, and accommodating. And their product is great. Their food options change regularly and they offer so many drink options including sugar-free and gluten-free options.

Any of these factors make The Busy Bean deserving of 5 stars. This place is such a gem in downtown South Boston!

I always enjoy my visits to The Busy Bean. Most of the time I stop for coffee, which is always great, but I have enjoyed their chicken salad for lunch several times. They have a great patio to use as well as.

First time here, and I had the special and a citrus hibiscus iced tea. Very nice space and the food was perfect: Greek style chicken and veggies on pita with tzakziki sauce. The special was 8.99 and came with 2 sides and a drink. The outside area is sweet, too! I'll be back for sure.

The charm and atmosphere is amazing. The food and coffee is top notch and they also have specialty teas you will love! You have to put this on your list to visit!
