Outstanding coffee, delightful setting. The detailed and nuanced descriptions of different blends which Quincy offers are actually real—the coffee tastes like he says it will down to the last flowery note. :-) Be advised—coffee from your regular shop will pale by comparison so you might end up “all in” at RND.

Cute little cafe with great drinks and great service! They have an excellent selection of coffee, tea, and small plates, and offer a wide variety of vegan options. I highly recommend the iced London Fog.

Cozy coffee shop and warm atmosphere. There is limited indoor seating, but right across the street there is a walking/biking path that’s perfect for a stroll.

I ordered the London Fog - highly recommend it!

RND is a fantastic coffee lounge. It's on the small side, but it's a beautiful space with great local artwork. They've made the most out of the room they have. They also helped open a communal area a couple blocks over, which will provide some additional space in Spring and Fall.

(The owner - ) Quincy's culinary training shows through with the variety and quality of his cuisine. RND syrups are handmade, lattes have ingredients like gochujang or seaweed, sandwiches have truffle-cheese and sriracha sour cream sauce. The menu changes seasonally, with new flavors and old favorites.

The service is excellent. There can occasionally be a wait due to the small size and growing popularity, but the baristas are trained well and move efficiently.

RND is a must-visit for anyone in the 3rd wave coffee scene who travels near Roanoke.

Alright alright alright. Hear me out. So the coffee and atmosphere is *chefs kiss* amazing. Every time I visit Roanoke I HAVE to grab an oatmilk mocha. But if I may... whoever decided to put Italian seasoning inside of the vegan chocolate muffin AND the icing that comes with it needs to take a moment and think over this decision. I mean I sat down with my warm chocolatey muffin today, very excited to enjoy a vegan treat (which is oftentimes hard to come by at coffee shops) and then BOOM... is that oregano? no... I try it again... thyme? rosemary? What is happening?! Are my tastebuds messed up? Either they are or someone made a bold decision to put some kind of strong herb/spice in this muffin and icing. Needless to say... I will be back because I still love RND with all my heart, but I think I will go for a bagel next time or perhaps just stick with the oat milk mocha.
Keep up the good work, everyone!... except for the person who made these muffins. You’re on thin ice. 😐

Blessed to have these guys in Roanoke. We absoLUTELY needed an amazing, community-centered coffee lounge in this city and RND has gone above and beyond taking on that role. They always seem to be trying new things and every single product I've had from them, from their freshly roasted beans to their in-house craft beverages have been phenomenal. Thanks for being here!

I saw this place on the news and decided to give it a try. I understand and comply with all the rules of the changing times but this place is not efficiently run for a coffee joint. Prepare to wait 15 mins or more to order and receive your order. If you're not a morning person, this place certainly won't help. But the bagel breakfast sandwich with salami i had was on point!

The coffee beverages are unique and expertly crafted (absolutely delicious!) and the RND team is very kind and helpful. I messed up my own order and they were beyond gracious and accommodating.

Great little Neighborhood coffeehouse. Friendly, not overpriced, simple interior. Unique tea cup.

Excellent coffee; the two gentlemen know their craft. Successfully brewed a flat white on request (putting on my Full Pretentious Hat). Comfortable seating, great coffee shop vibe. Minimal signage - it's the nondescript door between a driveway and the Meadery. Discussion of getting a bike rack - I'd speculate this place will become a favourite of the tight shorts + tiny hats crowd.
