Okay buckle up, here is my little review years in the making. The first time I had RND Coffee was years ago, pre pandemic, and I was stopping for coffee on a road trip up to DC. The baristas were extremely knowledgeable, and they had a tahini syrup that was INCREDIBLE in a latte. When I came back home to Houston, suddenly tahini syrups started sprouting up at all the cool shops in town. RND was truly ahead of the curve and became golden coffee gods in my mind. Fast forward to this Summer, and I stopped on a 24 hour drive back home to Houston from DC just to see what else RND had been cooking up. Y’all…they had a seaweed syrup. I was like…ok…I am adventurous…I’ll try it. It was…incredible. I was delighted. The barista was super kind and talked coffee and local vegan food with me for a bit. It is now December, I have had a rough week, but I just remembered RND Coffee is out there still existing and it made me happy. Please go to RND Coffee.

In addition to being an expert in-house roaster, the cafe cuisine is troublingly good. As in I miss it and I now resent not living closer. This place is worth the extra couple miles if you’re anywhere in the great state of Virginia.

Every time I’ve been in the coffee’s been phenomenal! Today I got the Dutch mocha and it’s delicious and I definitely recommend it! The staff members are always very friendly and knowledgeable! Super cozy atmosphere in a convenient location!

Great coffee, chill atmosphere, free WiFi. Tea and stuff as well but I only had the coffee.

RND is in a great location and offers a novel assortment of flavors. I always enjoy coming in and trying something I never have before. The food they offer is good as well.

Amazing vibe, delicious coffee, and friendly people. One of the best coffee shops in town.

My favourite coffee shop in Roanoke since the day they've opened! The brothers who run it are incredible, as are the various wonderful and kind staff they've been hiring as they've expanded!
Try one of their interesting lattes (lavender+thyme mocha is my fav though my family loves the cardamom) or a decadent and fresh nitro float, have a tasty bite to eat (coffee cake and toasts are to die for), or a bagel (now made in-house)!
For non-coffee drinkers, they have the best chais, loose leaf teas, etc. in Roanoke at prices no worse than a bland Starbucks drink. :)
Whenever I'm in Roanoke, I make sure to visit RND above any other place, and it's never lead me astray!

Considering the customer service, great brew, and ambience, there is no reason to avoid! Some of the best dark roast I've ever had!

Happened upon this place before going kayaking through Roanoke Mountain Adventures.
They are on their game! Excellent medium roast sweetened with their house made Dutch Mocha syrup made for a near-dessert.
The bagel with the egg souffle and salami was out of this world!
Felt very fortunate to have found you RND. I will return one day!
