Some of the best grits I've ever had - collard greens in it really make the dish. Chicken and waffles were also very good - was not expecting pulled chicken but it was super tasty, all of the flavors were on point.

I am in love. Nice quaint coffee shop. Food smells yummy, coffee puts Starbucks to shame. Trust I know..Its a BOB- back owned business. I am on a diet but saw an oatmeal raisin cookie bigger than my hand that looked sooo good. Let's just say ordered another abd a chocolate chip. At a price of $3 each including muffins you can't beat it nor the quality. If you want good coffee, tea food and enjoy free wifi then visit abd bring your laptop. I soooo love this is now located blocks from where Armstron High used to be. Class '92..Also you will see a Non Secours sign don't pass it.

We waited for at least 45 minutes after ordering and received no food. Not complicated orders. Breakfast. Cashier did not know how to refund our bank cards. We accepted cash but he had the NERVE TO SAY HE COULD NOT REFUND THE TIP. I retrieved the exact tip amount from the jar before leaving .
While I find the mission of this organization commendable I would have to say there was a lapse in supervision during my visit. There was no one available to prevent and later coach these young people through a grievous error. There were several attempts made to gain direction but contact with management was unavailable. Hunger may have driven me to a slight bit of rudeness toward an untrained employee - for that I apologize,
Thank you for the offer of a meal on the house but I don't plan on being in Richmond again any time soon.

Came in for a cup of coffee and a place to sit and read. It is so cute and cozy. They have very yummy looking pound cakes but I didn't try one. The outdoor patio is perfect for spring weather. I'll definitely be back for pound cake and coffee on the patio. It's locally owned and the owner is very sweet. The name gives the perfect idea of the atmosphere very friendly, it feels like I'm sitting on a front porch with old friends.

Was really excited to try this place, as it had great reviews. I am from out of town and wanted to grab breakfast; their Google menu shows quiche, as well as their Google photos...I called ahead and asked their quiche flavors, no one seemed to understand what I was asking (spoke to two people) and the woman on the phone kept saying you can order in or take it to go. I assumed this meant the did have quiche after asking multiple times. (They do not) I picked something else and had a friend pick up our order; I got a decaf tea *latte style* iced. I was brought a regular steeped tea, filled all the way to the top without any ice. Asked for poached eggs and received well done eggs...all of my short rib was pure fat..potatoes and onions cold. Sadly, I think the staff need additional training and clarification on the menu and how to properly make items to order. Normally wouldn’t complain but for a $20 breakfast I was left unsatisfied.

Great coffee shop with a small menu but everything I've had has been delicious! Usually fairly quiet And never overly packed or busy.
