Wow! Urban, quirky and full of character. All the menu choices are well thought out. The coffee is excellent. The ice cream is comparable to Breusters or Cold Stone. But the thing I liked the most was the servers. As we sat I noticed that all the customers knew the servers by names and vice-versa. Go, you won't be disappointed.

My favorite coffee shop in Richmond. This is my second time here. Try their Carrot Bran early in the morning. It’s super fresh and very tasty just like other things they make.. They have old school arcade game tables as well. I just feel happy here :)

If you haven’t been there, run over! Super chill atmosphere. They have a LGBT sticker on their door, and are very welcome to everyone. Bring the kids for some ice cream or a friend for a glass of wine. Not to forget the amazing selection of coffee. Warning it might be busy. Worth the wait*

Crossroads really hit the spot after a day-long bike ride exploring Richmond's awesome trail system. I had the corned beef, coleslaw, and thousand island on Rye. The patio and airy environment were the perfect compliment to the weather that day, and the relaxed yet attentive care I received at the register really put me at ease. I'd also like to compliment the staff on their musical tastes. Crossroads has something for everyone; Ice Cream, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Beer, and Coffee! I can't wait to stop in for a banana, chocolate and peanut butter milkshake. Next time I am in the area, guaranteed!

I feel like I don't come here often enough. The staff is super friendly and cool. The place is always clean. Food is great and they have beer! Bagels are free Cupertino's which is the best place to get bagels from around here.

I have been to this cafe several times. The atmosphere is cozy, with ecclectic decor, decent customer service, and good location off of Forest Hill Road. It is almost across the street from Forest Hill Park. There is not a lot of parking space available, and sometimes it can be hard to find a parking spot.
What I like to do, if it is a nice day, and I have extra time on my hands, I will park at the Forest Hill Park and walk to the cafe.
Food and beverages are decent. Good selection of coffee, baked goods and ice cream. I once ordered a chicken salad sandwich, and it was good, but portion size was small, and I was still hungry. And I would not recommend this place if you want a quick bite to eat on the cheap.
There is not a lot of room to sit down inside if it gets busy, and this place does get busy. The last time I was there, it was on a week day, about 11 am, when I would think most people would be at work, and Crossroads was packed with people. I'm always happy to see local businesses doing well. If there are no seats inside available, there is usually a seat to be found at their covered outside patio area.

Great coffee, but if you're not a local and it's your first time here, it's a little confusing where to order, where to stand while you're waiting, how you're going to get to the milk bar right next to the entrance in a cramped, crowded place. Interesting, eclectic interior with outdoor covered seating, if you don't mind sitting fifty feet from a busy street. Very popular on the Southside. Right across from Forest Hill Park.

Well, I went and it was my first time visiting this coffee shop. First Barista was nice and outgoing. However the blonde and the guy were standoffish..... not really attentive. They were just existing as far as customer service goes. The Blended drink I ordered was good but when I came back to the counter for another I was ignored. Shame. Brewers Cafe it is! Have a good one 😏🙂

I have lived in Richmond for 7 years now and I absolutely love Crossroads. They have amazing coffee choices and the ice cream is so delicious. No business is perfect, but this business comes close.
I used to love spending days at their old location, near VCU campus, studying. I honestly miss how homely it is and the new owners/business that took it over a few years ago made it so "sterile" feeling.
So, know that when you come here you're participating in a piece of true Richmond culture. The people are tatted and pierced, the coffee is fantastic, and the ice cream is beautiful! #Love.

I really like this place, however if you want to go somewhere for lunch that is cheap and filling, dont go here. Drinks are good but not the best and service is good most of the time. Its a great place to go for a quick bite or coffee to catching up or using wifi. One bathroom for any gender at a coffee shop is well annoying when having to wait. Hardly any outlets for your phone or laptop so dont expect to need one.
