AMO Gelato Café

I come here for coffee and had an ice cream Gelato orange sherbet yummy it was. Lake Monticello

Two pieces of cake both only ate one bite. Just not good at cakes. One person liked their gelato and the other said their flavor didn’t taste good at all

Lovely and attentive staff. Some constructive criticism: ice mocha way too much cream and not enough coffee. Hot coffee way too much cream. Should probably train the staff to ask the customer how much cream to add; also provide additional barista training. My cake was a bit dry and a touch stale. My husband’s was fine. Gelato was delicious.
Please offer recycling bins.

Drove 35 min on a Thursday evening, normal business hours. Closed. Pretty disappointed.

My co-workers and I went here on our lunch break to get a few pieces of cheesecake/cake/gelato. We brought it back to work and we excited to enjoy all of our treats during lunch, but soon upon first bites were disappointed. All pieces of the cake were super dry, hard, and had a stale flavor. The cheesecake slices were a little better, but had a stale/rubber like texture. We were all very upset to spend 5-7$ a piece, which isn't cheap, and to have it all end up in the trashcan. We are planning on discussing with management on our experience and will follow up with another review soon.

My husband & opted to try the pastries at Amo, instead of an Edward's pie from Food Lion. Should've stuck with FL for less than ½ the price. We paid almost $13 for 2 pieces of very stale, chewy, crunchy cake. We took them to-go, but I think if we'd eaten them there I would've said something. They did LOOK very good though!

Stop wasting your time and money and Starbucks and support small businesses! In 26 years of coffee drinking, they have the best latte I've ever had. ❤️

Great addition to the Palmyra area! All flavors tasted were great, but my favorites were bacio (chocolate with a nutty undertone, similar to those little truffle balls) and cookie and cream (not traditional with Oreos, but kind of a butter cookie flavor, indescribable, just pure heaven). The peach was also delicious. I hope to always keep a quart in my freezer. 😋

Wow! Exceptional service in a beautiful setting. Don't get me started on how delicious my gelato-filled brioche was... This time, I had straciotella and bacio, and I'll be back to try more flavors! I would highly recommend this café.

I just came up on this place yesterday and I’m so glad I did . Everything was really delicious and the coffee was amazing and Nice friendly staff. I just wish it were closer !
