Coaster Coffee

Really want to like this place and continue to buy there as I try to support local and it’s involvement with the church. however, the employees often seem to have an attitude? They aren’t blatantly rude, but the courtesy or energy that makes exceptional service is never there. After like 5 times of getting coffee there and feeling like I’m inconveniencing them I’m starting to think they have an issue. They don’t ever seem enthusiastic to answer questions or seem excited to put on a good face for the shop.

~ Chocolate chip cookie awesome amount of chips. (Per hubby said it needed more brown sugar? Lol I took a bite & it was good )
~ Egg bites - sausage & cheese was good. Spinach & Feta was a little dry.
~ Chicken Salad on Croissant, hubby said was great once I picked the Cranberries out. Lol
~ Loved my sugar free Vanilla latte, I was bummed they were out of sugar free caramel syrup.

My drink was good. I am mad because you guys. Didn't not have the chicken. Salad. Sandwich take off the border and all are to high

This is one of my favorite local coffee shops in Norfolk, VA. My favorite drinks is the hot green tea latte and the caramel latte. But I also have loved every roast of coffee so far. Especially the flavored ones. My favorite sandwich is the turkey pesto. So delicious! And if you’re wanting a pastry, you can’t go wrong with their mini banana breads. I also enjoy the atmosphere. There is a place for kids to hang out so parents can relax or mingle with one another and a back room for anyone who needs some quiet to work. Along with good food and a nice atmosphere. The owners are super nice and caring. And I just love in general how community engaged they are. It’s nice to have a place to go to that feels like a piece of my current home.

Flavors to foods aren’t listed, and the ingredients to foods aren’t listed, so they are a complete surprise which is bad for people with allergies. Coffee 7/10. Food was served cold instead of heated like it was supposed to be( cold grilled cheese). Wish they had out door seating. Over priced. Baristas were bickering with each other in front of customers.

This was my first time visiting Coaster coffee but it will not be my last. I ordered a iced caramel macchiato and my son ordered a iced white mocha, each $4.25. They were both deliciously smooth and flavorful. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Awesome experience.

Delicious drinks and a place with a great mission! Came here twice during a trip to Norfolk and if I lived here, I could imagine coming to work or read at this cafe.

I love this place and am quite grateful for this establishment. I am a stay at home mom with a 2 month old who is an extrovert just like me. We get cagey being in the house too long. This place is a godsend for the both of us. We are both able to get out and interact with the world on our levels. I'm able to get a great cup of coffee or tea. He's able to be a baby as I'm easily accommodated to breastfeed or change a diaper in the bathroom. That as a mom is truly a deciding factor in the businesses I choose to patron.

The coffee is phenomenal and it's well made. I'm more a tea drinker, however and I love their tea menu too. This place targets both drinkers very well with a thoughtfully planned menu.

This is my favorite place to come to in Norfolk and I will NOT patron any other place.

Coaster Coffee has THE best chai tea latte I have EVER had! The staff is so friendly and welcoming!! Overall, Coaster has such an amazing atmosphere, delicious coffee and baked goods!!!

Coaster coffee is one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to! Their food and drinks are great, the atmosphere is nice, great quality music was played, and the staff are quite kind! There's not good parking for people with accessible vehicles and parking overall is slim, but everything else was fantastic. I will definitely be returning!
