A nice cafe offering some interesting drinks and a surprising hidden list for Pokemon lovers (see pictures of this place). It seems a lot of LU students know about The Muse and it is often full. I noticed quite a few people would buy one of the breakfast or lunch items or a drink and would stay for hours to talk to friends, use their laptops, read, etc. so the turnover rate for tables is low and there doesn't seem to be a big push to get people to leave either. Kinda like how some Barnes and Nobles used to be. Definitely would come again.

The BEST coffee shop in Lynchburg. Their staff is the friendliest, kindest staff I have ever dealt with. I love the bottomless coffee options...their drip coffee is so good you don't have to buy a specialty drink! The wifi is fast and reliable - I have never had an issue and would sometimes spend 4 hours/day 5 days/week here. The only two drawbacks are: there is not enough space (just make friends and share tables, guys!) and the music there is a playlist that has the same songs playing every day at the same time (I just bring headphones now). Neither of these issues are enough to drop them below five stars though. And for food - its awesome (I suggest The Rusty).

After waiting in line for one lady ordering 15 coffees on 15 cards and another two people in front of us we finally got our coffee. It was barely warm. Terrible. If we had known this lady was ordering 15 coffees we would have gone somewhere else. Because she was using cards we thought she was having trouble with the cards. Not the case. Very rude of inconsiderate of the lady

Love the muse, love it! Everything about the muse is Awesome Sauce !
They were there for me during a tragedy, and for that I will never forget that! The Americana is out of this world! The owners are Awesome Sauce as well and that to me is a plus!

Probably the best local coffee shop in Lynchburg, the Muse always has an excellent selection of coffee and coffee based drinks.
The reason you'll come back though is the breakfast burrito. Black beans, eggs, bacon, cheese, and an option for adding avocado (do it) served in a grilled tortilla with a side of salsa. Every bite is delicious and it's $5.
They also have a great selection of other breakfast and lunch items like a Mediterranean hummus plate (also comes in burrito form) and other sandwich options.

The coffee is great and the baked goods are under rated. Try a cookie or pastry, their baked goods are better than most of the bakeries in Lynchburg (probably all of them). The atmosphere is good for hanging out with friends.

Loved the quiet atmosphere, the muffin was fabulous, and the coffee tasty. Samples were brought around, but we had privacy too. Perfect for what we needed! Will definitely come again

Quaint! That's a nice way of saying its a little cramped, but the atmosphere is nice. Big menu. Baristas are super friendly. I wouldn't come here with a group of friends, but it's a nice play to sit and read or do laptop work.

Ridiculously slow, always " out of " something as far as the food goes . The girls working there are awesome but the owners obviously have better things to do than focus on customers . I've placed orders for food an had it totally forgotten . This wasn't just an isolated experience I've been the for the last time ...going back to Starbucks !
