Enjoyed an absolutely lovely brunch here following a stay in the neighboring hotel. Our server was very kind and the food was absolutely delicious - I had a perfectly made quiche that came with a delicious side kale salad. The coffee drinks were huge and well made. Would come back anytime!

What an incredible place! I stopped by on a whim because I really wanted a cup of coffee.
Huge (and I mean it) cup of most delicious latte and a quiche later I’m stuffed and happy as could be. Quiche was so creamy and delicate, it also came with a kale Caesar salad which I totally discounted at first and I was so wrong - it was an absolute perfection and beautifully complimented the entree.
Service is also so friendly and welcoming, I truly enjoyed my visit!

Excellent menu, incredible servers, very reasonable prices. Try their Key Lime Tart! They make a pretty decent latte and offer up some of the best croissants in the area. They have gourmet sandwiches too! A great place to while away some time with a friend or sit by yourself and people watch..

I got up early this morning and took a drive to Gainesville to checkout the Coffee and Wine Bar. Coffee & Wine my to favorite drinks. I started with a drip coffee which was delicious, the coffee was full of body. Then I noticed that they had a Wellness Latte so I had to try one. So I got the Golden Tumeric Latte, a very healthy latte. To top it off I got the Apfel Cake… OMG. The cake took me back to Germany. The Apfel cake was nice and hot, not to sweet, the cream was fresh and the crust was crispy. Amazing
I can tell you the service was welcoming from the front door and all though the service. It is a very comfortable atmosphere.

Attentive, friendly staff. Hot coffee, delicious & flavorful breakfast panini, fresh warm croissant, comfortable atmosphere, featured paintings from local artists, healthy and unique menu choices, clean, patio seating, affordable.

I’ve never been asked to provide secondary ID before to buy a drink….. Thought it would be at a nightclub, bar, etc. Instead it happened at a coffee shop for a single drink that’s half ice cream because my ID “looks old” (a year old). Super weird.
I used to come to Trummers a lot while I was in late high school and college! Super tasty and unique foods, baked desserts, and drinks. I love the coffee, wine, etc.

Walked in on a random saturday afternoon at 1 pm. The store was not even at full capacity yet. Bathroom was clean and fully stocked with toiletries however only one available on site. Anywho ordered a takeout order. The dirty chai was good. The scrambled eggs with cheese was fresh but had no chives or seasoning. Upon waiting for my takeout order while sitting at the bar pleasantly the white man owner with the glasses and blue eyes said blatantly rude and disrespectfully that ok here is your takeout order and i need you to go now since your ordered takeout and didnt tip. Last time i checked mf you dont have to tip for a takeout order. Regardless two stars off for bland food and poor customer service. And no military discount. Will not be returning. If you decide to go go for the wine tasting or coffee and dine in so you wont be disrespectfully spoken to. Free wifi and free surface parking lot.

If I could give this place more stars I would. We ordered a Spicy chicken sandwich, quiche with a side of arugula, and a breakfast panini with truffle fries (a little over cooked but still delicious). Personally I cannot have caffeineted coffee and was surprised at how delicious the decaf coffee was!! Victoria our waitress smiled the whole time and was so patient and attentive she helped us make up our minds and never forgot about us despite how busy she was. We most definitely will be returning regularly especially on Sunday mornings.

AMAZING Austrian inspired brunch and coffee place! Highly recommend it here! Seating is limited and it’s always packed!

So I found myself in need of a coffee while visiting the Gateway one day and someone recommended this place. I ordered a cappuccino to go, waited 20 minutes to get it and exited the store happy I'll have my caffeine fix. Just till the first sip, till I got a terrible, huge amount of cinnamon in my mouth, and my mood turned. I went back and asked if they just add it to each cappuccino, they said yes. I told them it would be better to ask, but anyway, they did make a new one for me - another 20 minute wait. While waiting, I saw a good looking "schnitzel" being served so I decided to grab my German husband and come back a couple of days later. Me being from Europe as well, I thought we might be onto a good find here. I couldn't be more wrong. We went back a couple of days later to try their "Wienerschnitzel" and spatzle since they claim some Austrian ties. After 30 minutes of wait (empty place btw) the waitress came back and said she was just informed they don't have "spatzle" that day. Really, you were just informed??? It must have been another 20 minutes when the "Wienerschnitzel" plates arrived. I usually don't rate food that low, but it was an insult to "Wienerschnitzel", a sad joke, and a complete waste of money, time and a nice evening. The paper thin, dry piece of chicken covered in some floury substance disattached from the meat, definitely not "panko breaded", not breaded at all actually - it seemed like it was dunked in some gooey substance and deep fried. I could teach them how to make an actual schnitzel using the correct breading technique. I snatched a picture of how it looked inside. We graded their schnitzel with a big "F". This shouldn't be allowed to be called "Wienerschnitzel". I can only imagine how equally generic their spatzle is. Unfortunately one and done for this one. They really shouldn't try to be what they have no clue about. They should stick to coffee and pastries, since I saw good reviews about that, just ask before putting cinnamon on cappuccinos - it's just trying too much.
