Agora Downtown Coffee Shop & Roastery

Agora is my go-to and is the only coffee shop I enjoy in Fredericksburg. the coffee is yummy. the food is delicious, and there are usually a ton of plant-based and gluten-free options. the staff is super friendly.

I ordered a cappuccino and got a couple of tablespoons of espresso and some extremely airy substance that might have been milk. A 16oz cup had about 2oz of cappuccino.
My sister had a strawberry smoothie that tasted nothing like strawberry. I have enjoyed this place before but this time was extremely dissatisfied.

Very nice hometown coffee shop! Just moved to the area so we always look for a local coffee shop and this is our favorite! They roast the coffee in house and it is super smooth, no bite! They also carry several Gluten Free baked goods which is a plus for us as well. Didn't realize they had Gluten free items until our 3rd trip in, look closely at the chart on the case or just ask. Super friendly staff, very helpful, all around great place! Cool fact, the building was built in 1787, plaque on front, which makes it one of the oldest downtown! Highly recommend!!

Early opening which is great for the really birds crowd. Great barista and nice service, cute cafe. Limited fresh breakfast options , would return for coffee not muffins or snacks.

We love Agora! My 3 year old orders “milk with ice” and picks books to read from the back. The liaise area is also a favorite place to go downtown.

It's almost like being at someone 's house. They have easy chairs and tables in several rooms along with books to read and buy.

Best coffee house in Fredericksburg! The vegan, gluten free and dairy free deserts the make will completely change your perception on what eating a healty yummy desert tastes like. Its always a pleasure going in there and relax while still getting my work completed! And they also sell cocktails!

Probably the best coffee shop in downtown Fredricksburg and the historic early 1700's building it's located in is one of the oldest still standing structures in the city I highly recommend stopping by if you're in town

I have been a few times now and I’m thinking about moving to the area. If so this will be my main hangout. Great vibes, great coffee
