Skyward Cafe

Lovely local Cafe for wonderful coffee! Also serves delicious breakfast or lunch and includes healthy and vegetarian options. A must visit for anyone coming in town! 5 stars from me and my wife!

Lovely local cafe. We stopped by for coffee and brunch on our way back from Shenandoah. Coffee was great and so were chicken sandwiches. A Must visit to enjoy country side vi e and food if you are near Shenandoah park.

My wife and I regularly take a lunch at Skyward. The food, ambiance, and mellow vibe are fantastic. We have never had a bad meal, and the creativity in the specials, especially the soups, are wonderful. Could not recommend it more for a warm, feel good, casual meal.

Very cozy hole in the wall place with good vibes ambiance. Even though the Cafe is in the middle of nowhere, it is worth the detour. We took the Butternut Pumpkin Soup, French Toast, It's a wrap, Breakfast Sando, Veggie Wrap, 2 Smoothies and Latte. Although it took a little longer to be served the food is very tasty. The staff is very friendly.

In town for the weekend and needed to stop for lunch. Got to talk to Chef Jason who recommended the ultimate cheesesteak and sweet potato fries. Spot on suggestion, great food and good prices!

First visit but certainly not the last. Although I only had a very delicious latte, it was obvious that the Skyward Cafe is a hub of activity in Flint Hill. The owner came out and was very friendly and other patrons were kind and courteous. I was impressed with the steady stream of food orders going out the door. Nice job on the latte!

We stopped here after seeing this cute bakery/cafe/coffee shop on our way to the Shenandoah Mountains. We made a mental note to check it out on our way back home. It did not disappoint! Decor is adorable and it has whimsical, casual atmosphere. Servers are super sweet and accommodating. Food is FAB! We had a blueberry muffin that was loaded with fresh blueberries. The eggs over grits were delish as was the Egg Sando on a biscuit. Coffee was magical. Will def make it a point to stop here again on my next trip.

My third time here, service is always great, clean environment and the food is delicious.

Nice place. The steak and cheese was very good. Quiet and comfortable place to sit and eat.

Great atmosphere and the food was amazing. If they have the Beef and Barley Soup get a big bowl and some toast you won't regret it.
