UPDATE - TRIED IT AGAIN AND EVERYTHING WE ATE PERFECTION!!

It was a lovely and charming place. It was very clean and the employees were polite. We had some things that were extraordinary, well-executed and excellent (the open faced breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese and a spicy aioli sauce on a delightfully fluffy biscuit, the cupcake with an Oreo mini on top, the carrot cake cupcake, and the sweet potato biscuits - YES, YES, YES GET THEM...AGAIN AND AGAIN) and some things that were not the best (the blueberry biscuits were flat, the bottoms were overcooked and the tops was mushy in a way a biscuit can only be when undercooked and so different from the breakfast biscuits that two people had to have made them; and, the peach cupcake was beautiful, but the texture was peculiar and it a weird banana flavor).

Anyone can have an off day and overall, the good DEFINITELY outweighed the bad and I would try them again.

Top notch food, service, menu, everything. My first visit here was amazing due to the friendly ladies inside and the amazing food and service.

I stopped in last Saturday about 20 minutes before close starving and needing a small meal/snack and iced coffee to tide me over until an early dinner reservation.

I was bummed at first bc all I saw were a few cupcakes and cookies in the display (it was right before close) but the friendly lady behind the counter pointed me to the menu and said they'd happily make me anything I wanted from lunch or breakfast. I said I knew they were about to close and she said it didn't matter, order what I'd like.

I ordered the giant buttermilk biscuit with bacon, eggs and cheese and asked for iced coffee suggestions since the speciality lattes menu was LARGE and in charge. She suggested the Blackberry Lavender White Chocolate which I ordered iced and it was sooo good.

I decided to wait outside in the car with my boyfriend and the puppy but spoke to the friendly owner for about 5 minutes on my way out who asked about if I lived in the area and we talked about the area and their upcoming expansion into the space next door.

It took about 15 minutes to get the biscuit and my boyfriend was super mad at me because he said I can never just eat a quick snack (haha) but the owner ran it out to the car for me and when I saw it and took my first bite - heavennnnnn. It took a while because they baked it fresh for me. It's a large (easily for two to share) fresh-baked biscuit served open-faced topped with two eggs and 3 slices of bacon and cheese. They all melt into one another to perfectly compliment one another. Small side of aioli seals the deal. This biscuit was so good and the combo with my sweet iced latte was so amazing, I can't stop thinking about it. I made my boyfriend try a bite even though he was trying to be mad at me and then he ate half of it. LOL.

The cupcakes looked phenomenal, they have keto and healthy items, breakfast and lunch, and they were so friendly and welcoming. I see from their site they do specialty cakes and pies and catering. Boom! I'm sold.

I loved this spot! It's going to be added into my regular rotation. It's worth the drive. I'll happily make a special trip here for breakfast goodies. Noms. So happy to have found this gem and happy to support a local business doing it right.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on the way back from the Outer Banks and we were blown away with how amazing this place is. The customer service is phenomenal and the staff is kind, personable, and attentive. We plan to make it an annual tradition. Not to mention, delicious!

Living between Richmond and OBX the Hillcrest wawa has always been my scheduled stop. Last time I came through I decided to check out Crave. Went for coffee but ended up leaving with a muffin. It was the best muffin ever! Couldn’t wait to get another one on my next trip through, but when I arrived they were closing early. They apologized and then as I started walking away offered me a couple left over muffins for my trouble. So nice! Will definitely be back. Thanks!

On August 8th I ordered a keto cake for my husband to pick up on August 13th, my son picked up the cake for me so he didn’t know what to look for. I didn’t get what I ordered and I paid $117 for this cake so I feel I should have gotten what I asked for. I sent a message about this error and I’ve gotten no response or a way to make this right.. very disappointing because I use to go there frequently for coffee, and the keto corner but won’t go back now.

It’s difficult to find a place that actually makes its goods from scratch. Even when a place says “freshly baked,” that doesn’t mean the ingredients were compiled and prepared with care; I’ve been hoodwinked before. Crave goes outside of the norm, and does it SO well! We had our first visit today and tried a bit of everything— their signature giant open-faced BEC biscuit; banana pecan muffin; creme brûlée latte; and PB chocolate cupcake. Everything was fresh and moist, no dry crumbs; each had standout details like toasted pecans on the muffin, great cheddar flavor on the biscuit, deep real cocoa flavor on the cupcake. I am beyond impressed, you can taste the sincerity. This is the best bakery visit I’ve had in years.

Everything here is exceptionally delicious— the coffee, the baked goods...everything. The staff is super friendly and the owner is involved directly. Give this place your money. You won’t be disappointed.

Overpriced! Not worth it. If I’m paying $6.50 for a cupcake it should be good. These were dry like they had been sitting for days. The selection was very limited. Owner is rude. Sad since I would rather support a small business. After 2 purchases I’m done. Save yourself time and money and go to Kroger.

Update your operating hours on Google! I just drove there, based on your hours listed in Google, and you were closed. I wasted my time and probably won’t return.

Stopped here on our way back to NoVa to grab some breakfast. Took a little long to get the food, but there was a reason for that. The pretty much make it to order. Fantastic breakfast food. Had the Bacon Egg Cheese cheddar biscuit. Was not disappointed. Keep doing what you’re doin!
