Had the crab corn chowder. Was probably the best crab corn chowder I have ever had. We are from out of town otherwise this would be a go to place to eat. The server was very pleasant and attentive. Good job.

A man who I am assuming is the owner saw myself and my girlfriend standing outside of Crave in despair that it was closed. I had driven a long way to get there, and endured a long weekend, and was very much craving a cappuchino. The gentleman said he could make us some coffees, and let us inside. He took our order, got to work, and made it in good time. The coffee was heaven, as was the banana pudding I ordered. My mood was completely restored. Give this place a try. You won't regret it. I know I'll be coming back!

Our family came in for a quick lunch (three orders). After 40 minutes of waiting (with periodic "it's almost ready" updates), we learned they had not even started....after also seeing another order completed that came in after our family's order.
To be fair, they were very busy next door, and it is a shared kitchen. However, the staff did not communicate well, were super slow, did not make us feel welcome. Seemed put-out that we were unhappy with the experience. We waited for over an hour with no food, and finally canceled the order and left.
I can't see why we would come back.

Excellent service! The lady I spoke with was very sweet and helped me through all the cupcake flavors. I went to get 2 dozen for a birthday party and she had me pay before we even picked anything out, which I thought was suspicious. As we were picking them I realized that 1 dozen was enough but she said that her system doesn’t process refunds and asked if I wanted any different deserts instead so I just said no, and I took the 2 dozen. Total came out to be $183 (including $25 tip). The cupcakes were delicious, but I feel like the presentation was the only special thing about them. I definitely don’t think that they were worth that much and I wish I would’ve been aware that refunds weren’t possible. Overall, the cupcakes were delicious and beautiful, but I feel like I was cheated out of my money and I don’t think I will return.

* Update- the cake “bleed” 2 hours after we got it home so it became really ATTRACTIVE😡
Fortunately when cut into it it was dense chocolate and the raspberry filling made it delish, but nothing special. Butter cream on outside so so.
I am holding to the 1 star rating though due to not being what I ordered on outside decorations and the fact the the owner was not even remotely willing to take responsibility and quite frankly rude.
I cannot even express how disappointed and angry I am in this bakery. I have enjoyed their sandwiches though a bit pricey . Last week I decided to order a birthday cake and created the look over the phone. I wanted chocolate inside and out with fall colored leaves. She told me the leaves in fondant would be quite expensive, but she could do some nice ones in butter cream no extra change. I agreed to this. Today when I picked the cake up it looked nothing like we discussed- nothing. No apology just an offer to refund. I needed the cake for a birthday today.
I have loved supporting small businesses and will continue to do so, but Crave and their very over priced baked goods is no longer on my list.

A few months ago, I decided to try this coffee shop right around the corner from my office. Great idea! The sandwich was made fresh to order as well as my coffee. Everything tasted great. The staff was nice as well :) I will certainly be back again soon! Thank you!

Overall: A classic cafe offering with average quality food, little atmosphere, and higher than market prices.
Pros: decoration of pastries are interesting with glitter on almost all items. Most had a nice aesthetic. Location is nice being central to Edinburgh commons.
Cons: cinnamon bun I had was slightly stale. Menu is so large, particularly on coffee, it is hard to sort through. Pricing is unclear from menu. Seems to be about 20%-25% more (estimating) than Starbucks equivalent but for lesser or equivalent quality.
Additional Thoughts: I think this place is a great concept as there are no local cafes in the immediate Edinburgh area. However, I think they could benefit from focusing in on their menu and ensuring that each option offered is excellent- especially for a price premium. Better to be excellent at a few things than average at many in my opinion.

I loved the vegan cupcake I got a few weeks ago. The staff was so kind to personally answer my questions. The blackberry latte I got was awesome.

Wonderful experience. Friendly and welcoming staff. My husband and I had an egg, bacon, cheese on a homemade croissant that melted in my mouth, a still warm cranberry scone drizzled with toppings, and a very tasty iced mocha latte. We will definitely be back! Superb!

Just came here to try the keto cupcakes.. the case was sold out but they went in the back and made me a keto lemon cupcake. It was amazing and glittery. Loved it.
