Friendly and patient staff, everything is made to order fresh, affordable and some of the best tasting donuts around. Because this is such a fresh product and get boxed up warm, I would highly recommend eating them there if you can or hopefully you don't have a long drive since the warmth from the donut can melt the toppings a bit. Honestly, even if the whole box was a hot melted mess, I would probably just take a massive spoon and have at it since it would still taste incredible.

General manager is extremely rude to his customers and staff . He is like a bully to his poor team members . So unprofessional. I won’t go back after the way I was him treat his staff and also the customer in front of me . He should not hold that title there nor should he even work there . He’s gonna be very bad for business and cause employee loss . Hope that you guys find someone better soon

This Duck Donuts is amazing! The staff is incredibly nice and friendly. Quick service as always and enjoy going there weekly. I have a shop nearby and walk down to get a coffee and some donuts. Thanks for the great services and see you next week!

We visit Charlottesville fairly often and stop by here every time. Donuts are made fresh when you order them and they have a good variety of toppings. They also have coffee and espresso

So my first time hearing about duck donuts was in Charlotte, NC. I heard how amazing they tasted and how they originated from a town called Duck in North Carolina. I even googled the damn town. Anyways my first time experiencing the place was here.
I LOVE the whole concept about this place. Donuts made to order… I'm from the North, We barely see Krispie Kreams where I live and Dunkin Donuts is the only other franchise around. After having one of duck's donuts I feel like I can't ever have Dunkin's ever again 😂. I had their French Toast with maple frosting donut. It was so warm and sweet. It didn't taste like French toast to me but I was ok with that. I cherished every last bite of that delicious. It's definitely a decadent, too sweet to have more than one in one sitting. And it was at a decent price about, 50 cents more than a lame dunkin donut, donut.

On my most recent order they made 2 mistakes out of 6 donuts, which is a 33% error rate. Or, you could say with glazes and toppings and such that there were 20 items involved in my order if which they missed 2, which is a 10% error rate. 10% is better, but still not 5 star levels.
I've just roughly averaged the two, and then rounded down because of the prices (prices are like other elite donuts makers but the quality is lesser than then even if way better than the large chains (as evidenced in the picture)).
Since it is hard to make any other sorts of mistakes here (I ordered no drinks and they won't likely cook the donuts poorly), this is all I have to go on. Hopefully future visits, if they occur, will pull this average up.

Best donuts hands down! Warm, melt in your mouth. Definitely worth the visit.

Gourmet Donut Shop with made fresh to order flavored donuts. Duck Donuts puts the flavors on the cake like donut after you order the donuts you want. Fresh from the cooker.
It's cute and kid friendly, and it tastes great, too! $1.60 for one specialty donut.
Discounts for half and whole dozen.

I normally enjoy getting Duck Donuts from this establishment, but today was a disappointment. We went in to try the St Patricks day assortment and on the advertisement for the donut pack, the lucky charm donuts had at least 5-6 or more marshmallows on each donut. So, thinking we were getting the donuts that were advertised, we ordered the pack. When we went to look at the donuts, the person in charge of our order was trying to quickly put on the lid so we couldn't see what we were getting. We asked to look at them closer. Begrudgingly, she showed us the donuts. Two of the lucky charm donuts did not have a single marshmallow on them, and the other lucky charm had one single marshmallow. We asked her "where are the marshmallows?" she said "oh, we're out". Then my mom noticed more lucky charm marshmallows in a container and said "but what about those over there?". The employee then acted way bothered and way annoyed with us, grabbed the container and put a measily two marshmallows on each of the other lucky charm donuts. She was acting like we were the problem for her company's lack of product. May be taking our business elsewhere with the snootiness thats at Duck Donuts nowadays. Here is the picture of what our donuts looked like after we simply asked for marshmallows.

Ordered these off of door dash and they were still warm! So good! Would definitely order again!
