Busy bakery, huge selection of cakes, desserts, pastries, and donuts. They also have ice cream. I went on a Saturday morning at 10. There was a substantial line, about 15 ahead of us. It was worth the wait (about 15-20 minutes), the line moved pretty quickly. I had donuts-- strawberry cake and chocolate covered bavarian cream and a cup of coffee. You can buy special coffees as well. I just got the serve yourself--they had dark roast and house blend. I tried the dark roast and it was very good. There were lots of people taking out, but there were a good number of people enjoying their treats there. Inside three seating areas seat 50-75 people. Pleasant dining areas are decorated with local art and photography. Fun outing on Saturday morning, there were parents with kids making memories and multiple generations enjoying time together.. Also the staff are very friendly and efficient.

WARNING: This bakery is for cheat day only! It might be easiest to belabor how much of a treat everything is, but what’s important to know about this place is that it sets the standard for quality ingredients and presentation as well. Imagine if a hibachi place in the Tri-Cities tried as hard as Blackbird? Or any restaurant in the Tri-Cities tried as hard as Blackbird. Here, the effort shows and we can only hope more restaurants follow suit.

I have out in application after application, called daily for a week straight and walked tp check in person 4 times. The manager never even called me back nor come out to speak to me. You should value the Public that puys food in your mouths. Shame on You.

Yummy croissants. They need to have preserves to go with them if you're dining there.

Tonight 4 of us from seiverville stopped by and it was one of the best experiences we've had in a long time .. we got 4 different coffees and 10 different treats .. the desserts were amazing!! Tried a couple bites of each and got some more before we left.. the best part was the young man who helped us .. Calvino ( I hope I spelled that right) . What a awesome person ❤️. He explained all the items, made good suggestions , laughed and jokes with us. Honestly we would have picked one thing each and been happy enough but this young man SOLD IT and he wasn't wrong everything was great .. so thanks Calvino you made our night and we are looking forward to returning very soon !!!

First time there so I picked out a little bit of everything. So far I've eaten half an apple fritter, half a "maple" donut and a macaron. The macaron is one of the best I've ever had!! The apple fritter was scrumptious!! The donut left a little to be desired.... It was 2pm so maybe they had been there since this morning. However, I ordered a maple and it was more chocolate than maple. Also, when I told the girl behind the counter that I was gonna get a half dozen donuts she just started putting a miscellaneous variety into the box. Wasn't sure if she was making up a box for a call in order or what but then she said I'll meet you down at the register. When I told her that I wanted to pick the ones I wanted she said "Oh, so do you want any of these that I put in the box?" I told her no and then as I was telling her what I wanted she said there was already a maple in there. Well if what she pointed to was a maple then they need to rename it because it has no maple flavor. It was chocolate glazed and had some kind of beige colored squiggle on top of it that didn't taste like maple. Besides that one snaffu, the service was good and I can't wait to try the croissants I bought.

Best donuts ever. Busy but not crowded. Good for a stop on our long trip north even if a bit off the highway.

This place is amazing! Compared to other bakeries I've been to, this one blows the rest of them out of the water. The product selection, quality, hours, and friendly customer service makes Blackbird Bakery a shining gem of the eclectic community in Bristol. We tried a whole slew of baked goods today, and each one was better than the last. The coffees we had with espresso shots were perfectly pulled and delicious. The manager, Calvin I think, was so friendly at the register and made sure to thank us for coming in for our first visit. I'm so glad we stopped in while we were passing through. Blackbird Bakery will become a regular place for us when we visit Bristol. If you're nearby, don't miss out!

They were friendly. We came at an odd time of their ice cream machine being taken out for repairs so the employees where distracted by that. But the employees that where free to take care of guest really tried to connect and make the guest feel welcome. The guest infront of us got to have a good long conversation with the cashier. The cafe au lait and breva , well where average the coffee wasn't to write about, but in their defense this looks to be more of a bakery and the coffee is just a good pairing. We just didn't need anymore sugar. Would of given 3 stars but they were friendly and had unexpected maintenance troubles that altered our service.
