Blackbird Bakery

Hit it after a late lunch for something sweet. I was amazed at the selection and volume. I had one of their cheese cakes and boy was it good. The cinnamon rolls looked heavenly but I had to resist.

Are you kidding me? There's a bakery / dessert shop that's open 24 hours a day? We hit this place twice a day while we were in Bristol. Mornings brought quiche or donuts or fruit tarts, and it was ice cream late at night. The staff behind the counter was always friendly and helpful (and patient). Plenty of room to sit and enjoy your food and coffee, with mezzanine or first level dining room, and outdoor sidewalk seating.

A very relaxed, easy going, comfortable & peaceful atmosphere. Workers are super friendly always a smiling face when you walk in. So much to choose from. You just want a huge plate with a bite of everything. Espresso is organic and they have gluten free items as well. You can place an order for anything that you would like done special to your occasion, with just 48 hour notice. Everything is fine from scratch, no frozen and then made items. The best & biggest doughnuts around & they are made fresh with the change of each shift. So always soft and fresh. Man this is the best comfort food in Bristol.

Incredibly good desserts! Our favorites are the cherry almond cheesecake, s’mores bar and peanut butter doughnut!

We sampled a variety of item ALL of them were delicious. I was especially surprised by how amazing the banana pudding was!! Can't recommend enough!

The place is decorated nicely and had a good atmosphere. The pastries were displayed well. Honestly, taste wise, I can get much better treats at our local place in Wise.

Great selection of baked goods. For some reason we thought they were big on cupcakes, they did not have any. But not to fear, everything we had was well presented and tasted great.

Wow! What a bakery! Atmosphere is like being in the coffee shop of "Friends". Great live music. Was truly enjoyable.

This evening Saturday January 14th after enjoying a nice dinner with friends and family, we stopped at the bakery to finish off a great evening. As we walked up, we were so excited that your door hours showed you were open until 12am, but the sign on the door said closed. Because there were so many people inside still, we pushed on the door and found it was open. We asked one of the employees if we could still place a to go order, but he very rudely informed us that the bakery closed at 10pm. We told him the sign on the door said 12am, and once again he rudely replied that it was changed on the internet. We told him we didn't check the internet, but the sign on the door and he very sarcastically said well guess you need to check the internet. Wow-so rude! When I got home, I checked the internet and when you get to your website the hours show until midnight! We definitely won't be back which is a shame as we really enjoy your bakery.

We moved away from Bristol years ago, but we always make a point to stop at Blackbird Bakery every time we are in town. Staff is always friendly, and desserts always taste amazing!!
