Love the coffee, one of the best coffee I’ve had tasted in Washington

The cookies are great here so are the sandwiches. Hopefully they get a better coffee brew it wasn't bad but it wasn't very good!

Enjoyed breakfast and coffee outdoors.
The food tasted great.

I love this coffee shop! I have been here probably a dozen times. Every single time has been a pleasure. Their pastries are delicious, the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is super cute. I don't have one negative thing to say about Northside Social! It is a great place to meet with work colleagues or friends for coffee chats. I have even tried their lunch food and thought it was delicious.

I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but I like this fairly large coffee house for its pastries, its beers in individual bottles, and its pleasant size and location. It’s tucked right on Wilson Boulevard just past the bustle of Washington Boulevard, with a line of trees and a Capital Bikeshare dock between it and Washington Boulevard.
The pastries are nice and made either in-house or by someone close by. They’re different from and better than most of the pastries in the area. They’re pretty large and thick rather than delicate. They include a lot of things you might enjoy with coffee, of course, but some of these are pretty unusual, like pop tarts made with Nutella or blueberries. These are very flaky and are better eaten cold than heated, I think. In the winter, they make flat raisin cookies that are very similar to something my parents used to buy. I think they were called Sunshine Golden Raisin Biscuits in the ‘70s. These have a thin layer of hard white frosting on them, and are very good as well as satisfying my nostalgia.
As far as beer goes, they sell one of my favorite brands, which is still pretty hard to get: Aecht Schlenkerla Märzen, a rauchbier made in Bamberg. I used to live there, and I acquired a taste for this odd but delicious smoked beer.
There are both large indoor and outdoor seating areas. It’s pretty noisy inside, but you can sit in either seating area and use their wifi.

Love this place. Best breakie sandwich in town! Delicious cappuccino.

Exploring coffee shops has become a hobby for me; whenever I visit a new city, I look for local coffee shops. Having visited a handful of coffee shops across multiple big cities, I must say that Northside Social’s coffee has been the best I’ve ever had so far!

I've passed by this place more times than I can remember and it always seems to be packed. So I finally decided to try it and I can see why it has such a good following.
It's a winery/cafe/deli hybrid, which may sound strange, but it's executed very well. Dog friendly if you can snag a seat on the outside patio, otherwise they have two rooms for indoor seating plus a wine bar on teh second floor. Service was great and food was pretty decent albeit slightly pricey. The meat/cheese platter (sorry for the half-eaten picture) was good, but not outstanding. I really enjoyed their grilled cheese, however.
Overall, worth the visit, worth the hype.

I've been going here for years and will continue doing so. It's a great place to get work done, read a book, enjoy some great coffee and food, and people watch. I've had some wonderful moments here, ranging from work meetings to family get togethers to dates. Their sandwiches and pastries are top notch and their customer service is as well.
