This is my favorite coffee shop in NOVA. The atmosphere is great. Whenever I'm in town I go here to work, study, or just read. Never to loud, but it's not oppressively quiet either. It's the just the way a coffee shop should be. The Chai is the best I've found anywhere so definitely get that! They also have great breakfast foods.

Used to be my favorite coffee shop
But now the service got sooo slow

Good, but not as good under the new management. Example: today they literally had no drip coffee to sell at 2 pm ("it will be ready in about six minutes"). Seriously, guys? No coffee? I expect to hear the bouzouki music start any minute now. Plus: the (actual) music is way too loud.
Update, a year later: everything is running much better now, I'm happy to report. Staff very friendly and efficient. Once again my favorite place for coffee.

Never had a bad experience. Good coffee and good people watching. Haven't been back in the last three years but sitting outside in the early fall is the perfect time for hot coffee pretty much any day of the week. When I lived in Virginia, it was a good respite from all the traffic and people of the surrounding areas.

The pumpkin spice latte is delicious! They use a pumpkin puree for flavor rather than a bunch of sugary syrup, so you get more of the spices you expect (cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg) and not just a shock of sweet. Atmosphere is also very nice.

Good sandwiches. High quality, fresh ingredients in a clean modest environment. The service was pretty aweful on my visit but they seemed to be understaffed and overwhelmed. They offer handcrafted coffee drinks, but their other than coffee beverage selection is pretty bare. Expect to spend about 13/pp.

Nice place to unwind. Nice selection of pastries and drinks. I don't drink coffee, so I cannot rate that portion. I got a pastry and thought about getting juice, but decided to get water to forgo the additional sugar. After checking out, I learned they had a great selection of teas. I will be back to try those out!

Great, popular coffee shop. However, they don't serve coffee how I like it. Definitely a step up from Starbucks but if you're looking for third wave shots, this isn't the shop for you. Closest you'll get is the pourover but it really comes down to who makes it for you. The ambiance is wonderful but it does get a bit crowded on the weekends. Family friendly!

This is a great little coffee pub. I have been coming here regularly for the past seven years and love the vibe, the friendly baristas, and music selection (everything from hip hop to jazz to alternative hipster). The coffee is great -- especially my favorite: breve latte. I've read so many complaints on here that just seem unfounded and frankly, quite ridiculous. The long lines are due to the excellent food and coffee. Great place. :)

Feels like having a barista at home. Inviting, unique, and funky interior with plenty of seating and tables. Extensive menu for food and drinks for a small place, but also makes it a bit hard to decide or decipher what the options are. Coffee drinks and baked goods are all delicious!
