Still trying... Put in an online order before dropping my kids off at school and still had to wait 20 mins for 2 drinks. All of del Ray hits up this coffee shop so it's a place to spend time, not grab a quick cup of coffee.
I always want to love it bc it's a friendly neighborhood spot, but do NOT order the mocha. It's heavy with some sweet cocoa powder and I don't think I can drink it (even after adding an extra shot)... and the egg is super overcooked on a dry bagel.

St. Elmo's is the best!! With the expansion into Market to Market you have a great coffee shop AND sandwich spot to boot! And they now also sell beer & wine! Get work done during the day, and enjoy music and tunes at night! It's a great spot for ALL ages!

My breakfast burrito was decent, but...
The order to go included a bagel with veggie cc, they forgot the cc and didn't bother to wrap the bagel. Didn't discover this until we were on the highway. Too far to turn back, very disappointed.
Also, we pointed this out to them by email the next day, they never replied.

I had breakfast there another day and was very pleasant. The coffee is great and the customer service too. I had a bagel sandwich and was good.

Very interesting neighborhood coffee shop! Expect great bagels, bakery items and coffee. Looking for a place to hang out with friends on weekends, look no further!

I love this place and love their coffee! I go to read there regularly and enjoy the atmosphere. I wish they didn't charge extra for non-dairy milk to be added to their drip coffees (extra 50 cents for splashes of almond/soy milk).

This has been my go to spot for coffee and to get work done during telework for almost a year now. I'm rating it a 3 because I am allergic to pet dander as of late people have been bringing animals into the coffee shop. In my opinion, this is odd. One its not sanitary. There are open containers of beverages and food in the shop and bringing dirty animals into that space is not sanitary. Second, some people like myself, are allergic to pet dander. I am in no position to tell someone that they can't bring their pet in but at the same time I can't risk having a bad allergic reaction, so I choose to leave. It would be if the staff would just have a policy to keep animals.

I must say that this is my favorite coffee spot in Virginia. I tend to get a mocha and its always brewed at the perfect temperature and the staff is very friendly. Their sandwiches were really tasty and pretty good portion. overall, nice selection of drinks and sandwiches and ill definitely be back!
