Scout Winooski

By far, a great place to hang out in. Plenty of seating, coffee, pastries and atmosphere. Great place to work on your computer, people won't bother you. You can stay until closing. Staff is very friendly. I do want them to bring back the ice cream though. Great place to get some work dine while enjoying a great cup of coffee.

The chai lattes are often too diluted by milk to taste like tea and the ice cream flavors are... interesting. Their ice cream is very well made but I personally don't enjoy flavors like "smoke" and "oak" in my ice cream.

Small, local shop serving locally roasted beans and baked goods. Well made drinks, cute interior that's very comfortable, right at the top of the Winooski circle. They also have homemade ice cream.

Really wonderful spot. Don't know what else to say but, they have good coffee and it's popular without being pretentious

This place has real good coffee. Had the toasted marshmallow one and was delicious. Went here on probably the coldest day in Vermont’s history. I was standing at the door 2 minutes prior to their opening. As I’m standing there, the two employees are just standing there looking at me and then ignoring me. Mind you it’s -9 degrees outside....almost -30 with the windchill. This place has signs that say refugees are welcome, but are paying customers welcome? Why would you look at someone standing outside, shivering in the freezing cold and not let them inside? They are very lucky that I needed that coffee to warm myself up. This place wants to act progressive and liberal, but only in theory... how about you learn some customer service and treat paying customers with dignity....

Definitely one of the nicest coffee shops in the area. The offerings aren't super expansive but the quality of the coffee and pastries definitely makes up for the quantity. The staff was very knowledgeable about the coffee, was super friendly, and offered free samples of what they had on offer that day. The space was very open and bright with huge windows to let in lots of light. Will definitely be back on our next visit to the Winooski area.

Really excellent coffee. I had the sugar shack blend as an espresso. Excellent! The barista was very knowledgeable and helpful. Took home some of the Vivid roasters beans and they were some of the best around. Highly recommend.

I have always wanted to love Scout but it just doesn't quite hit the mark, though I always go back. The space is great, staff are welcoming and the coffee drinks are pretty. I just wish they'd steam the milk more as my drinks are almost always warm within a couple minutes and then lukewarm after that. Tasty but not my favorite. Their baked goods supplier makes yummy treats, but they are too buttery. Their housemade meals and iced beverages are much better!

Excellent coffee shop. The beans were roasted on the premises and made an aromatic cuppa. The ham and cheese croissant was tasty. The 2 baristas (one was the owner) were friendly and attentive. Prices are in line with other specialty coffee shops.
