Outstanding lunch spot near Stratton. Everything we had was well made and tasty. Great sandwiches and the chili, Thai chicken soup and beef stew were perfect to bring home and heat up for easy dinners. Highly recommend. Call ahead as they do get busy.

Terrific people and food. Theresa made it so easy to feed our crowd over the holiday weekend. So grateful for your patience and flexibility. Always a smile - and always great food - we really enjoyed our BBQ dinner and pile o’ breakfast sandwiches- yum!

Best breakfast sandwich in the area. The breakfast bowls are also unbelievable. Good prices. Serve yourself coffee, including ice coffee with chilled cups. Also, non dairy available, which is very thoughtful. Friendly local place with a nice view if the weather is nice.

Not what we expected. You walk in order, then there is a sitting area to eat
Highly recommend the Josh and veggie bowl.
Was not expecting much nice surprise left full

A local police officer recommended this place to me and some friends and we are so glad he did!
The workhorse serves a whole bunch of mac and cheese/pulled pork based meals and sandwiches, and has immediately become one of my favorite restaurants in the Jamaica area.
I got the piggy grilled cheese, which is a grilled cheese sandwich (mac and cheese replaces the actual cheese) with pulled pork, coleslaw and bacon on sourdough bread. It was seriously one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while.
In addition to the pulled pork and mac, they have some seriously delicious baked goods as well.
We will definitely be paying this place a visit time and time again.

Don't get the latte here. I ordered an iced latte. It was super watery, didn't have any ice in it, and they charged me $7 for it. Photo of the latte attached.

Best. Food. Ever! Not only that, the people that run and work here are so nice and helpful. Try the steak tips, try the chicken pesto sandwich...just try everything! Highly recommend this great place!

Awesome food, awesome location, and awesome staff. So far I've had three of the sandwiches and plan to come back and try the rest. The Workhorse, the banh mi, and the piggy sandwich were all delicious!

We tried the old location last winter and have looked forward to coming back all year. Unfortunately they seem to have taken the best thing (mac n cheese topped with bbq beef and caramelized onions) off the menu. We tried to order it again but ended up with a small amount of mac topped with bbq beef and (inexplicably) two very overcooked hamburger patties. It was good once we removed the patties, but we miss the old dish. If they add it back we will be first in line!!

I loved this place. They have a tables on the back close to transparent little river, so relaxing, and the food was amazing, we took the Workhorse Sandwich and cake of salt caramel and I still can taste it. Definitely I will come back!
