Oh my goodness, what a wonderful place to come across! Saw the sign from the road, turned into the shopping center- so glad we did! They have a nice selection of items, though we decided on a slice of cake each with coffee! At $4 per slice of cake (hubby chose a Lemon Diplomat - lemon cheesecake, and my mom and I chose a Belgian chocolate mousse cake) and $2.75 for regular coffee, this was really a fantastic afternoon coffee/cake adventure. Looking around, other folks were having colorful salads and quiches…some with specialty coffees and teas. Super yummy cakes, and friendly staff - we asked if the cakes were made on-site (an enthusiastic yes) and inquired how they cut them so clearly (the fellow even came back to our table with the pastry tool to show us!)! ❤️❤️❤️

So nice there. Lunch was chicken salad with cranberry mayo cranberry. Fresh tomato. Have not had that tasty of a tomato since summer. Great pastries to go home.

Chef’s Corner should be on your list of “must-go”s for Chittenden, VT! This hidden gem has indoor and outdoor seating, a pastry cabinet that will make you reevaluate your diet, and an expansive menu for whatever you may be in the mood for!
They can fill up quickly so be sure to secure a spot with a reservation! I got a warm, sweet maple latte and the Salmon Benedict. The hollandaise was rich and creamy, draped over warm bread with just the right amount of salmon and a perfectly cooked egg! The asparagus on the side was delicious and cooked perfectly. I could have eaten a whole plate of just that!
Service was also excellent and we had a chef or manager come out to check on our table and thank us for coming. We will be sure to be back with a bigger appetite next time!

The fries and herbed aioli were perfect and I really enjoyed my tomato bisque and side salad. The salad was well dressed but the blackened chicken sandwich was flat on flavor and too much cheese (I know, there can be such thing)
The atmosphere was very nice and clean, friendly staff and a great selection of deserts. The prices were slightly high but still fair for the atmosphere and quality. Will be coming back

Food was so good and gluten free. I haven't egg benedict in almost 20 years. My non gluten companions all enjoyed French toast, pancakes, and quiche.

Love this place. Food is absolutely delicious and it’s my favorite spot to read & have coffee. People are super nice here. Thank you for spreading all that niceness and kindness.

Great new location with delicious food. We had the three salad deli plate to try a variety of items. I had three chicken choices and my wife had the vegetarian options. Each option had loads of flavor and the dressed greens were crisp and tasty. The dining room was spacious and clean. Self service iced tea was also good. Plenty of parking. If you are in the area we suggest that you dine at Chef’s Corner.
low end theory
This is probably one of the better cafes that I’ve ever eaten at. All the flavors are dead on. Price is a little high but it’s worth it because the cafe drinks alone are amazing. This is a definite must try.

This is easily in my top favorite places.
Very friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, great food and the best pastries around.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We were visiting VT and searched up breakfast places. There were so many but my daughter chose this one and we went on with her choice. We got the French toast ( see picture) chocolate chip pancakes and eggs with sausage. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The Pastries were beautifully made and we also got some to go. Service was great too and the ambiance of the place was beautiful. I’m definitely coming here again!
