We stopped in here yesterday for a late lunch after skiing and had a fantastic experience. Even though it was late in the day, there were still quite a few baked goods to choose from. We got the chili, garden rueben, a cinnamon raisin bagel, a spinach and ricotta turnover, a twisted cinnamon stick, and a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread. Everything was delicious! The woman working behind the counter was friendly and fast. We want to try everything on the menu now, we will be back!

Great atmosphere in a small Vermont town. The food is delicious from lunch to breakfast and of course all of there baked goods. The staff are always friendly and provide great service.

Loved the chocolate French toast. Great laid back atmosphere and service. Omelet was perfectly cooked hot and tasty. Check out the trestle just a block away then ride the Green Mountain train later.

Came for brunch and got an omelette with home fries! Was delicious! Low key and relaxing to hangout and sip on coffee. Nice staff with great baked goods. Highly recommend

A nice little café to stop at for breakfast. They were out of a lot of things when we visited around 10:30am, and the food was good, but not amazing. Cute decor, and some local goods for sale.

Breads are homemade, with lots of variety and amazingly good.
Service, people, food all great

Hidden Gem! Excellent food-- breakfast and lunch options, simple yet delicious coffee station, and many options to choose from. The service was fast and friendly!

I’m going to only give it 4 stars because the tables were sticky and it was hot as hell without no ac it wasn’t a fun place to eat. The food however was amazing. We got 2 egg omelets. I believe they are designed for 2 because they were that big. The decor was quaint and comforting like you popped over a friends for coffee or something. There seemed to be 3 staff which explained the lack of speed you seemed to get your order. They should remember tourists might come in and be a little more informative about how long orders will be and help yourself to seating something to that effect. There was a woman prancing around singing in what only looked like pjs. All of the coffee and cream I had to ask for because they were out. I even had to flip around the napkins they had because one side was empty. They only had 1 ketchup bottle for the entire store so it was advised to bring your plate to the ketchup which is very weird to me. The much younger woman who looked so unhappy to be there had taken our order and another woman who couldn’t make eye contact and didn’t seem friendly at all rang us in at the end after we had shouted out a few times asking if we could pay so we could leave. . . If you want some good food. Call ahead if they allow it and plan to take your food home so you can start your day with something a bit more positive than we did.

Very cute place with great service and my omelette was great! Wish well we knew about this place sooner as the breakfast at the Castle Hill where we stayed was underwhelming.

We first came here in December of 2019, had the most delicious breakfast sandwiches that we’ve probably EVER had. Almost two years later, we searched the area high and low for this little gem from memory and found it. It’s still just as delicious as we remember. Fresh bread, local ingredients, and absolutely adorable. We will come back every time we’re in the state.
