I would give it a million stars if I could. This place is -quality-. They have a gluten free section in their baking store, and ALL KINDS of fascinating baking goodies. The Cafe and outdoor seating areas are beautiful and the staff is friendly and good at what they do. The coffee is delicious. A must- visit if you're nearby... or even if you aren't! I even embarrassed myself mightily by spilling some drinks all over the pick up station. One of the Cafe folks was walking over to me with a roll of paper towels in her hand before I could even say anything. She made me feel better about (and helped me mop up) the big mess I made and had what I spilled replaced quickly and without fuss. I liked the brand before my visit...I LOVE it now.

I am breaking up this review into 2 parts.
1. The store is amazing and has so many great options BUT the prices are definitely a little on the high side.
2. The food area is a HUGE disappointment especially for a vegetarian. Very few options and although brie and apple or artichoke shouldn't be the only vegetarian sandwich options. The pizza looked so unappetizing that even my pizza loving 5 year old wouldn't go near it.

Overall a big disappointment

Judy was phenomenal!! She had answers to all our questions. She helped get large boxes for our 34 boxes of Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix. She recommended them for gifts!! Other mixes & baking pans were also purchased. Judy is a definite asset to King Arthur. Your staff is very well versed in all your products!! Love this store!!! Your products are also used at my sister's church fair in their baked goods!!

Love this place. I took three classes (3 day laminated doughs, Sister Pie's guest instructor 2 day class and a 3 hour choux class). Many people in each class have taken numerous classes over the years. I expect I will do the same. I learned a lot and my confidence in my baking skills has increased significantly.

Specifics -

-The classrooms are well stocked and monitors over the instructor's table make it easy to see what they are doing.
-The chairs are really comfy.
-Most things are done individually which I prefer. I'm a hands on learner so sharing preparations of things doesn't work as well for me as doing it all myself.
-Instructors rotate so you end up getting lots of viewpoints and tips. Over the 3 day class we had 3 different primary instructors and 2 assistants checking in with us as we did our thing and offering helpful suggestions.

The smell when you walk in can only be described as heavenly. It is an experience I welcome all to have.

I first went to King Arthur a few years ago and had a delicious sandwich but this time I was disappointed. I had the chickpea vegan soup that tasted very bland and when I sat outside I was covered in bees within one minute. For someone allergic(like myself), this could be a deadly problem. Don't get me wrong, these are necessary to our planet, but not necessary when they're landing in our soup. I also found their mixes to be very expensive. A beautiful store but definitely a tourist trap. A gorgeous place to visit but bring your extra credit card and your EpiPen.

As an aspiring baker, this was entirely like visiting the candy store as a kid. The cafe offers delightful croissants and coffee, but the real draw is the shop. Never have I ever seen so many specialty flours and tools! I gotta hand it to KAF, their branded merch is on point and made me want to fangirl them hardcore.

The prmise of an egg breakfast sandwich got my 16 year old granddaughter out of bed at 7 am because they are so good. We bought bread, rolls and a Bakewell tart-so delicious- to take home. At the store we bought a crepe pan and mix as well as King Arthur all purpose flour. My granddaughter has gone to baking camp and now bakes all kinds of rolls, cakes cookies and pies. Thank you, King Arthur for your great products.

I attended a 4 hour baking class there- about making Ciabatti- and the class was excellent, and covered everything beginning bakers need to know. The instructor was clear and concise, that class room, facilities, ovens and equipment were clean, modern and lovely. Each of the ~15 students had our own mixer and a workspace at a baking table. The recipes were simple and well explained, and we took home four loaves that we baked in the class. Nice !

Everything is wonderful! The store, the classes, the Cafe ... I can easily spend a full day at the campus. Highly recommend for home bakers to make the pilgrimage here and either take a class to learn something new, or just shop the extensive store.
