I would not even give it 1 star. We are regular clients at the Stowe location and have never had an issue . On Sunday June 1st we went to the Morrisville location. We waited 20 minutes after ordering our sandwiches and when we enquired what was taking so long we were told they ran out of tomatoes so we said make them with out tomatos. another 20 minutes passed and we enquired again and we were told it would be another 5 minutes. I asked if preparation had even been started and I was told no. I then said forget it we could not waste any more time waiting for a simple sandwich. We were not offered a return of our payment nor an apologize just a blank look by an employee who obvious had no passion for his work. We tried to contact black cap direct and left a message on their MSG board as I do not believe in airing dirty laundry in a public forum, but since management did not bother to reply here it is. Hoping they can resolve their employee issues before they destroy their business. I will never return.

Great atmosphere, great food and coffee..is it hard to be nice to all customers, or do you have to be young and hip to get good service?

Had the Vermont Maple Latte. Needed the extra shot of espresso which made it great. One of the best scones I've had in a long time. Very good. Highly recommend

Just opened today after closing for COVID. Took some Zoom meeting here. Much faster WiFi than my house.

Great atmosphere, horrible service. Took over 25 minutes to make a black iced coffee and don’t get me started on how long it took to make the food. The organization of this place is the most horrendous thing i’ve ever seen. Never will be returning and the staff needs to learn how to do their jobs

Had a great experience here. I got a tomato and mozzarella caprese sandwich and it was delicious! The staff were also super nice.
