Great service, overnight oats and brekky sandwiches are delicious. Coffee is solid.

Nice coffee shop with a very taste mocha and a nice amount of seating. Plenty of room to setup and work a little or read!

Very helpful and friendly. Muffin was excellent. All sizes of espresso drinks (even 16oz) have the same 2 shots which makes no sense. So if you want proper strength large latte or americano, you either downsize or pay $1 for extra shots each. If they were priced accordingly (less expensive), then giving customers the choice by starting with 2 shots and letting them pay to add would make sense, but they were priced at about 4.50 for a lg latte with 2 shots.

Awesome cafe with a great coffee selection, delicious baked goods, and tons of space. Great for working on your laptop. Friendly staff!

Been here over 100+ Times. Get the same drink EVERY single time. Somehow, it’s always a different price? Seems odd. The staff is incredibly friendly and the coffee is good, seems wildly inconsistent though.

I’m sure the coffee is great. It smelled heavenly.
I grabbed a couple of cupcakes since the bakery down the road no longer offers them. They looked great but that was where it ended. Are they grocery store cupcake mix and Icing?
The cake was dry and lackluster and the buttercream tasted like flavored crisp.
Pass on the cupcakes folks.

Great great great coffee! Breakfast burrito was a little soggy but otherwise excellent. Parking on street or on left side of building.

This is a good place but I'm just not a fan of $2 refills of coffee. Funny enough I still go because the coffee is good, the space is comfortable and the location is convenient. The baked goods are good and they have some tasty but expensive sandwiches. They also carry a good selection of beers for a coffee shop.

Friendly and helpful. My croissant was served at room temperature. I wish they would have asked for my preference. It was good, and would have probably been great warm. Great selection of local beers for sale.

I’ve always had excellent coffee from Black Cap, and the breakfast sandwiches are yummy. However this morning I did not have a positive customer service experience. To the point where I am now unsure if I want to continue being a patron for this business.
I was running a little late this morning, so I decided to call and see if it would be possible to get a breakfast sandwich started while I was on my way (they usually take about 10 minutes or so). A young woman named Meredith answered the phone, and let me know she would have to put me on hold for a couple of minutes. This seemed reasonable, I’ve worked in the service industry for many years and understand the morning coffee rush. Instead of actually putting me on hold she simply set down the phone for over a couple minutes. During this time I was listening to her and her Co-workers gossiping and laughing, only once did I hear any interaction with a customer, and only once did I hear the milk being steamed on the espresso machine. She then got back on the phone asking “are you still there”, when I replied “yes”, she told me “I cannot take any phone orders at this time the cafe is too busy”.
I drove by about 3 minutes later to stop in and complete my order. I saw two people behind the counter, no line, and less than five customers in the store.
If phone orders are not part of your policy please ask your employees to let people know so that they can either make other arrangements, or perhaps not have to listen to them gossip while they are on “hold”. It would have greatly improved my morning.
