Castleton Pizza Place & Deli

Raven and the staff were excellent! Great place for food.

The food was absolutely delicious and very fresh. The ladies that were working Saturday 7/23 are great at there jobs. Especially for just getting over a rush from the basketball tournament and training new staff. We really enjoyed this place.

Was a very nice cute place to eat. There was amiable seating as well as it wasn't overly crowded during lunch time. Good parking outback and along the street. Only reason for the 4 stars is the pizza was off, it was not what I was expecting and wound up throwing away one of my 2 cheese slices.

Been coming here for over 25 years now. Still the same great pizza and subs!
I prefer cabbage over lettuce and I can't get that everywhere!

I came here wanting to leave a one or two star review, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Google said they were open until 9, I walked in at 7:37. Without even a “hey” I get rudely told that they close at 8. The place looked nice and smelled great and the menu looked good. Too bad I’m not going back because of this short encounter, although I have also heard about rude service from others who went there as well.

Great variety of delicious wraps! Pizza is decent too. Sadly no vegan cheese options. Looking for dessert? Pick from the assortment of pie slices! Chocolate cream is my favorite so far.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Great place to go for good food and kind folks.

NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN.
First, the staff I dealt with were rude and horrible. I ordered 2 large pizzas. When I got them and drove back home, I opened the pizza box to start eating and almost all of the cheese was hard as a rock and burnt. I brought one of them back and asked for a new one. They gave me attitude and told me nothing was wrong with it. I kept refusing to leave without a new one so they finally made a new one. They cooked it for less than 5 minuets and the crust was still raw. After that, I demanded a refund and they gave me a lot of attitude about it. The past 3 times I’ve been there the pizza has been either wrong or gross. I’m never eating there again.

Great place in downtown Castleton for some pizza or sandwiches and similar fare. Literally within walking distance of Castleton University, it has reliable wifi and I spent the bulk of an afternoon in one of their booths to work. Service was great and the place was clean over all, including the bathrooms.

Possibly the worst service of any restaurant I've ever been to. I ordered online for the person behind the counter to tell me that the order wasn't there, even though it had taken from my account. She then flippantly said the order wasn't in, even though again, I was charged for it and instead just went to someone else and ignored me. Instead of ever taking my order or doing anything about it. Didn't even eat there. Do not waste your time.
