Great coffee and drink selection. Comfortable seats and cozy fireplace. Kind staff and fast service. Love the different tables and atomosphere. In the back they often have the premier league on during the weekends - my favorite place to watch! Very fair prices as well. A great coffee shop!

Good service and a really nice large and well ventilated place to eat and drink. We had a nice latte and chai latte here, in addition to a tasty blueberry muffin and almond croissant. The pastries all looked terrific.

Beautiful place! Perfect for doing work. Coffee could be better (limited, small, + expensive), but the space makes up for it. Go for the experience, not the coffee.

I first tried Vivid coffee years ago in college. Winooski and Co was always a favorite coffee shop but at the time I just liked coffee.
Then I met Ian and got to get some glimpses of the heart that goes into Vivid coffee, and I absolutely love their mission and the many initiatives they take. Because I no longer live in Vermont, I've had a coffee subscription off and on, and I am always so happy with the coffees I get.
Last year my husband and I started to get serious about making our.own great coffee. We got an espresso machine and bought tons of different beans from several small businesses and some larger big name coffees. There are a lot of good coffees out there, don't get me wrong, but at the end of the day nothing beats Sugar shack.

I had a stellar kouign-amann.

They do offer "real food" in plastic to-go containers from New Moon.

They also sell coffee paraphernalia, like grinders, aeropresses, enamel mugs, and immersion kits. Plus bags of coffee (duh) and limited merch.

Coffee is acceptable/good. 75¢ upcharge for plant milk though.

They have vegan chocolate chip cookies - delicious! Great coffee and beautiful decor.

Splendid artisan coffee roasted in-house and ethically sourced by the owner himself. A wonderful atmosphere, great studying spot, and great crew!

Amazing coffee, great space & friendly staff!

Vivid is a very solid option for coffee in Burlington proper- I am a big fan of the maple lattes and of the opinion that the drip coffee is one of the best around (I have not had them all….yet). The baked goods are exceptional as well- do try the sticky bun (they call it something else)- yum!

I like the ambience as well- clean, well appointed and spacious. Have had several mornings there where the sun was bursting through the main window- an instant mood elevator:)

I don’t get the aggressively negative reviews as they really skew the overall rating unfairly. Vivid should solidly be a 4.7+ overall on google imo.
