My muzzled dog and I regularly go into Kru in the mornings for the wonderful coffee and inviting staff. This morning we had a great conversation about his muzzle and why he wears it. It was such a pleasant surprise as we sometimes get nasty comments because of it. Can’t recommend enough!!

Very disappointed in the chai, super bitter and otherwise flavorless. Really expensive for a bad tasting drink. Love the atmosphere, friendly staff, and overall vibe, but the chai was just plain gross.

Second time checking this place out and I love it. The cappuccino is very good, great ambiance, friendly staff. I love the decor & high ceilings. The seating is well spaced out for social distancing which is everything to me right now. It’s one of my favorite spots to have cappuccino in Vermont, I’m so glad I finally decided to check them out. You’re welcome! I’ve been back since 😁👌🏽

Had the matcha tea latte and it was well prepared! Quaint and spacious coffee house in Burlington, VT. Located in outskirts of a very busy street, nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

I just couldn't help but love the Cardi Bee 🐝🍯 Great atmosphere, comfortable mixed seatings with plenty of windows. I really liked the hands-on approach of the baristas.

Definitely the beat craft coffee in town! Great place to catch up on work. Are we in Vienna?

One of the best in Burlington. Great people watching inside and outside. It can ge crowded during the college school year. Seating limited at times. Staff excellent!

As someone who prefers other warm drinks to coffee, Kru is totally the place to go on Church St. Delicious hot chocolate (rich and dark, rivaled only by Lake Champlain Chocolates’ drinking chocolate but Kru’s is larger and cheaper!) and they have an AMAZING selection of teas (including a spectacular chai that I believe is made in-house if I recall correctly).
Their food is also great— somewhat limited selection of baked goods, but what they do have is done well and reasonably priced. I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches— eggs are perfect consistency (nonrubbery!) and the bacon is crispy!
Finally, because it matters for a coffee shop, this place has good ambiance. The decor is eclectic and fun. Natural lighting from the large windows overlooking Church St on one side and the eponymous Church on the other mean that it’s a nice place to work. Everyone always been relatively quiet and respectful when I’ve been in here, and there’s a wide variety of comfortable seating of all kinds.

Kru was the best coffee I had on my trip to Burlington VT! Cool vibes and atmosphere there. We were greeted by a warm smile from a friendly guy working the order counter- great service and it feel inviting. Coffee and tea were delicious! Thank you :)
