The Works Café

The tuna panini and the bbq chicken panini were fresh and delicious! I would suggest this for a fast, casual meal. The menu has a lot of great choices for breakfast and lunch items. The restaurant is clean and has a good atmosphere.

Stopped in for a late lunch while sightseeing in downtown Battleboro. Overall, the two paninis we ordered (Ham, cheddar & apple) were good but like other things, nowadays, overpriced for what you get ($9.79 for sandwich only). Chips (bought 2 bags) and drinks are extra. I purchased a cup of coffee to go with my meal ($2.79 ... refill $1.99) purchased a bottled water for the other ($1.99). Ticket total was $35.52 (incl. 20% tip). Out of 5 different carafes of coffe, 3 were totally empty (left was Decaf and 1 other). Of course, the one I wanted was empty. After notifying Staff about the coffee supply it was over 30 minutes before anymore coffee was replenished (1 carafe). It was slightly less time than that before the paninis were ready. To their defense, it appeared that they make most, if not all, their sandwiches, etc from "scratch". Also, the Staff is friendly and were working hard and, the place is clean, so this review shouldn't be taken as totally negative. It's simply what we experienced. 😊

Stopped in while passing through town- wish we could go back, menu looks amazing. Just got cold brew coffees and a smoothie - all were delish. Love their commitment to the environment and compostable items.

I always enjoy the bagels and hazelnut coffee here. They have seating outside that is also dog friendly.

I order here almost daily for over a year now. For a while it was a place you could count on to get your orders correct, but over the last few months the majority of the orders are incorrect now, and the customer service has gone down hill for sure. As much as I want to support local, today is the final straw on getting the wrong items delivered.

Amazing staff. Meh bagels, skip the coffee if you can.

The coffee is good but the food is super unseasoned. We got the Western breakfast burrito and there was no seasoning to be found. Service is good. Bathrooms have keypad entry which is a pain. Trust your costumers.

As I said to the guy at the counter, this was probably the best counter-serve salad I've ever had. The best way to describe it is that every ingredient was treated with care. The smoke on the bacon, the seasoning on the tomatoes, the flavors in the dressing... absolutely fantastic. We stopped in while traveling on business, but I'll have to make a trip back just to have another salad. Staff was also very friendly, and we were not made to wear a mask (told it was optional). All around a great experience.

Great food and great staff! I also love the new blueberry bagel!

Their service is very good and their food as well! The mac and cheese is one of the best I've had.
