While the coffee I had was good.. I tried a chai and husband tried a green latte drink.. and both were just not easy on the palate or stomach (too strong).. and we couldn't drink them. It would be good to improve upon these.
The barista that served us was so kind and lovely! Lots of great espresso and coffee options, and at the intersection of a number of fun businesses to patronize. Check out the restroom for some of the best mural art in town!
The most pleasant coffee stop on my trip down 91. Based on this experience alone, I'd go out of my way to pick up coffee there again. (I picked up a 12oz of their Ethiopian roast)
Good coffee, nice staff, and a cozy environment! Overall a good experience. We returned each time we passed through Brattleboro on our trip and bought some beans to take home.
A fantastic cup of Joe and a true gem for Brattleboro (and area).
Years ago (2017?) I gave MJ's a one star review because I felt the staff was pretentious and condescending, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere in the shop: not somewhere I would ever choose to visit. However, since then that has completely changed and I now feel welcomed here. Best mocha latte in town!
Many other reviews point out the positives of this wonderfully funky spot so I’ll just add two things; they roast their own beans just down the block, and sometimes when business is hopping there can be a short wait. Because they make so many complex coffee creations the wait can sometimes approach 5-8 minutes which in Vermont is no big deal — good chance to practice a few deep breaths and to appreciate the eclectic humanity around you. Also notice the closing hour—not a place to go after the show.
Coffee was cold and I could Dip my nose in it and not burn it. The stools were a bit wobbly as well. I would be taking me business to Latte Larry’s but that fire situation was a whole fiasco. All in all the coffee is pretty pretty good
Probably the best coffee in the Brattleboro area, has been around for a long time and consistently worth the visit. Has a nice progressive clientele and staff, cute little seating area.
Tiny but great coffee! My kiddos get the chocolate monkey drink as their “coffee”. Grin. I love their cappuccino and they have a great selection of teas.

Great coffee!! Was a little busy when I was there, but they definitely kept the line down, and had superb service! Keep up the good work!
