JB'S Restaurant

I moved away from vernal several years ago. I loved eating here in high school, so while we’re visiting we decided to try it. The service was slow, but it’s a Sunday morning around brunch time so I’m not upset about that. The low rating is for the food. The French toast tasted stale. The coffee tasted burnt. And my over easy eggs were definitely overdone. Our server was friendly and the food was cheap, but definitely not super high quality. It was a bit disappointing. The potatoes were super delicious though.

Wonderful place full of home style fresh food and lots of options. Includes a salad and soup bar. Our waitress Anna was the sweetest and most helpful to our entire family. Highly recommend. Clean place and nice restrooms.

I had the soup and salad bar which had a good variety of FRESH veggies. The corn chowder was surprisingly flavorful. This included a taco section, all for a reasonable price. My boyfriend got the sourdough burger which he thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant was clean and our waitress was friendly and prompt.

Had a nice lunch at this small town restaurant. We had a taco salad & chicken salad sandwich. Both exceeded our expectations. Our server was both very attentive and friendly. Service was super fast. I would stop here again.

The food here was good and our waitress was super nice. They seemed short staffed and our food took longer then we would have liked but our waitress was very good about keeping us informed and taking care of us during our visit. We left full and happy.

I hadn't eaten at a jb's in 10 years. It was good then and is better know. I had the pot roast. It was the best ever, other than my mom's. Yummy 👍. Great staff.

Small town Utah on a Sunday afternoon. Trying to find a restaurant open is like finding a pin in a haystack. JB's was open, food was good, they had a brunch buffet which was open. I had the turkey dinner. It was delicious 😋. There was so much food I couldn't eat it all. Our waitress was very pleasant with good humor 😄.

So service was decent but our chicken tenders and taco salad tasted like fish. Here's a tip JBs don't fry food in the same oil you fried fish in.

Loved the experience here. It was quaint and quiet, not super busy. The staff was very kind, and the idea of the breakfast buffet was great for kids!
