Morty's Cafe: St. George

Loved this place. 1st time there, and we took the family. They have a great menu and something for everyone. Food was delicious. I had the sunny side burger and wife had the Quinoa Strawberry salad. Both were amazing. The keep the dining room very clean, staff out and about often. The staff is very friendly and checks on you often. There is some interesting artwork posted all around, and I think it is for sale. Great place to eat, can't wait to go back.

SO good! I loved the french fries and onion rings. They were so crunchy and salty. I also loved my burger! I got Yucatan burger and my husband got the Hawaiian. Both were so delicious and cooked to perfection. Definitely a must have in St. George!

Hands down the best burger I have ever had. I got the iconic burger and fries for one steal of a deal at $5 and I added a fried egg to it. I also tried their famous scone fries and they did not disappoint!

Make sure you check them out and support all the local owned businesses during this time. I called in and placed an order and it was ready in 15 minutes. They come over to your car and hand you your bag of food!

Excellent food. I got the Philly cheesesteak burger and shared some scone fries and sweet potato fries with the table. I highly recommend the raspberry cheesecake dipping sauce for the scone fries.

They have vegan options which is so appreciated! However,the blackbean burger could've stood to be cooked longer because when I ate it, it fell apart very easily. I'm not certain if that was because of the way they make it or if it just needed a longer cook time.
I would go back.

Quest for the Holy Grail of Philly Cheesesteaks.... continues... (sounds like a Monty Python skit... I know...) Ok... one word - "Brilliant"... Quality of meat was exceptional. I repeat ~ exceptional... Forgot to ask for extra mayo- but no problem - Aioli? Not sure of spelling - but essentially they use a garlic mayo - and it was delicious. The sandwich was not in a traditional hoagie, rather a large circular bun. Not complaining as it complimented everything perfectly. Yes they have pretty good fries and the service I experienced was impeccable, warm, and friendly. Solid 5 stars and a top contender without a doubt. Ate outside in the shade... a little cool today, but felt like being in Boston or Philly in early spring. This sandwich was just exceptionally delicious. Did I find the Philly Grail castle? Jury is out - got some more places to go... but after 3 phillys this week I need to take an extended break and go to the gym ..lol.. Almost forgot .... For this quality the price point was great. Although I did not eat indoors, the ambience of this place has a cozy classic feel, kind of like the Bearpaw Cafe that's been around these parts forever. Peace out.

I'll start by saying that we are usually very satisfied with Morty's, but the last two times have been rough! I called in a phone order today. Was told about 20 min wait. Showed up in 20 min and waited in line for 15-20 min more. Than I was told they had no order for me and I would need to reorder. Instead of moving mine up because of the mistake, they made we wait another hour! I had a toddler with me and lost my car keys to make it all worse! The service is slowly going down hill... Don't know if we'll be back!

Spent $90 on takeout last night and they messed up 3/5 orders we had! Two of them we didn’t even get! So very disappointed because I heard great things about Mortys but I’m super annoyed I spent that much money on food that was either wrong or MISSING!!! I emailed them to get money back but haven’t heard back.

Pretty disappointed. Messed up our order very bad. Straight up forgot two of our burgers and an egg on a sunny side burger. I get we had party of 8 and it can get crazy but having the cashier just yell the order back to the kitchen obviously is a bad system. Not a good burger but somehow probably the best in St. George.

Great little burger joint. Fast friendly service. Great daily specials. We usually eat here once every time we are in St George.
