Joe Coffee and Espresso Bar

Holy hell, this place has the BEST COLD BREW IN THE WESTERN UNITED STATES. They use a hawaiian hazelnut grind to make their cold brew and it is stupid good. We stopped by when traveling through several weeks ago and then I forgot all about it when we were in town yesterday... looked for coffee nearby and the place I picked on maps happened to be this place... I got so excited when I saw the building knowing we were gonna get more of that delicious cold brew. It's close to all kinds of things, too- for us, it was the awesome dog park and a decent laundromat called the Wash Tub. Highly recommend all three.

I love this place, but I’ve been here 4 times in the last week, and every time their lattes have tasted like straight milk, there’s barely any flavor of espresso or the added flavors... we end up just throwing our drinks away. Before the COVID19 shutdowns, we’d come here and get lattes tasting like plain milk only once in a while but now it’s been every time. The turkey avocado bagel sandwiches are constantly delicious so I definitely recommend those, but would call ahead first!

Every time I come the staff is friendly and the coffee is good. A lot of their drinks are too sweet though.

Update 10/4/22:
It's gotten a bit better and I've had less issues with incorrect orders. But the overall inconsistent quality with slowly raising prices just doesn't make it worth it for me. I really wish it was better because nothing beats Joe's when it's good. That, unfortunately, just only happens on the rare occasion.

I have such mixed feelings and it makes me sad. I've always loved this location, regardless of if it's been Buns and Brews, Daily Cup, or now Joe's. I LOVE Joe's coffee, but I've now had several consecutive poor staffing experiences. I will come with my same two coffee orders and I am almost always asked to repeat them while the employee does not write them down. I will get to the window and receive the incorrect thing. I order one regular and one with almond milk and generally they will either both have almond milk or both regular milk.
3 times I have said verbatim, "I would like a cream cheese bagel on a plain bagel." I specify because they default to an everything bagel which I strongly dislike. Every time, I've received an everything bagel regardless of my specification.
This issue could be very easily resolved if employees that have this recurring issue simply brought a notepad for the order.
I would love to give the establishment 5 stars because the atmosphere is wonderful, I can tell the management truly cares about their customer's experiences, and the coffee and food is delicious. I hope to see some improvement, but I suppose we'll see what happens.

Stopped here while spending the night in the area while on our extended road trip. I knew I would like it as we approached the front door the smell of fresh coffee was in the air. She had a cappuccino and liked it. I opted for the fresh brew. One of the better cups of coffee that I can remember. Full bodied and tasty without being overly strong.

We each had a pastry which were good. We were the only customers, so received good service.

I’m not a huge fan of coffee but I love going to joes! Everything I have had there has been so yummy!

I love this coffee shop. I try to support small businesses rather than the bigger chains. I wasn’t expecting such amazing coffee! The baristas are all so nice!
