I usually REALLY like this place, but recently had a disappointing experience. Their roasted coffee is great! I brought my parents here a few days go. We ordered the iced mocha & the woman who made it did an AMAZING job. It was the creamiest, frothiest mocha we have ever had. So we came back again a few days later. Unfortunately this one was mediocre. It was NOT made the same way & did not taste the same. We even had to stir the drink ourselves because the chocolate was not fully mixed into the drink…Very disappointed because we came all the way from Ogden just for this mocha. I would definitely travel down here more often if I knew I would get a consistent product. But since I never know if I am going to get the same drink we will probably not make special trips down here. However, if you are looking for great coffee beans…this is definitely the place! :)

Best coffee shop in SLC. Very knowledgeable baristas, roasters, and such a cool space. They know what pairs well with what, they will assist in whatever taste you are wanting that day and more. Garland and Brandy (roasters are amazing) and all of the staff. Highly recommend this place as your home shop, or if you are visiting to definitely swing by!

I have never loved a coffee shop more than I have loved this place. I honestly can’t go anywhere else anymore. I have been going here for months and they are consistently amazing! I have not had a bad cup of coffee despite being here so many times. It has also become a favorite for all the people I have taken here (which has been a lot of family and friends)! The coffee is really good quality and the other drinks we have tried (the matcha, chai, and iced teas) have all been amazing too. The employees are always so helpful and consistently do such an amazing job! It also is a little too easy to get to since it’s just right off of 400 south. Go here, you won’t be disappointed. I never am!

Everything about this coffee shop is excellent. From the way that they roast their coffee and craft their specialty drinks to how they decorate their store. You can feel their passion for exquisite coffee and see the love that they have for the community. I LOVE this place!!!

Also, hands down the best chai, made from scratch 💛

I started with a dirty chai and the Boston crème cronut. After I got a lavender tea with crème and sugar. Some of the best chai in Utah, a quiet location (once you find it), and a really great staff.

Local, family owned, roasted onsite and fresh.

Great little spot for an amazing coffee experience! Large selection of beans if you want to grab something to brew at home. Their toasts are delicious and pair great with the coffee. I'm looking forward to returning to SLC and enjoy Kings Peak Coffee Roasters again!

What a wonderful place. The service is excellent from friendly staff. The coffee is delicious and not over roasted. Has various yummy pastries including savory ones. The avocado toast is highly recommended.
