We love this place. This is the only place we go for beans for our daily coffee. It’s among the best—if not the best—coffee we’ve ever routinely had access to...and we’re coffee snobs :) Kings Peak also makes great specialty coffee drinks. We love the inclusive atmosphere, it’s location off the beaten path, and the family business vibe. Definitely recommend.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet Sadie and learn a little bit more about coffee. Not only were her recommendations amazing, she has so much passion for what she does! Thank you for taking the time to educate me and share some of your amazing coffee knowledge!
I purchased the Barrel Aged Coffee and the Geisha. Both are absolutely amazing (and Italian boyfriend approved). Kings Peak Coffee is the only coffee I'll be keeping in my kitchen from now on!

Awesome little shop! One of the only places around that does pour-overs. Coffee was great, had to get a bag to-go.

Loved Kings Peak coffee & vibe! Nice & clean chill spot in downtown SLC. I would recommend there frozen chocolate mocha! We really enjoyed having our AA Fantasy draft there too. Garland & Brandy always makes us feel comfortable in the shop. Good positive vibes!

Kings Peak Coffee Roasters isn't your typical sun-dappled, nostalgia, snap chatty driven coffee shop. Nestled on the far west side, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Salt Lake City in a sleek and minimalist setting you will find the friendly owners Garland and Brandy behind the counter painstakingly preparing specialty grade coffee imported from the farms of Costa Rica to their shop in Salt Lake City. Clean, friendly and great coffee... Simple and Good. Come check them out.

Went in and loved the place! So much in fact, that I asked them if we could host our annual Fantasy Football draft there, and they came through! Such a great spot! Can’t beat the relaxed vibe, and the perfect cup of coffee. 10/10 recommend!

This is what I pictured coffee shops would be like! Ambiance was incredible here! I loved the old brick walls, the old hardwood ceilings, the open space the lighting. The aesthetic was amazing! I could hang out here all the time! I actually rated it 4.5 stars, but they don't let you go e 1/2 stars... So KPCR gets the benefit of the round-up 😉
The reason for 4.5 stars is that I liked their coffee... But I didn't LOVE their coffee. I got both a cortado and a traditional macchiato. The cortado fell a little flat and over extracted. Their macchiato was a little under extracted and acidic. I also bought a bag of beans that hasn't been my fav. But all still good... Just not great. But I'd come here again for sure.
